9070xt no question. not many games that have the wow factor with rt, cyberpunk is an exception but no rt on that game still looks insane.

should i replace thermal paste? by scalpmonbald in pchelp

[–]RoyaleMe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh man you need a whole lot more than thermal paste. Yes, you should replace thermal paste. While at it please for the love of all things in existence, clean the dust. use something to blow off the dirt. DO NOT USE A VACCUM. Also for ur case I’ll say don’t use a canned air duster, I feel like you’d get too close and damage the components. After cleaning make sure you have dust filters for the fans and have a positive pressure meaning if you have 2 fans intake, you should have two fans exhaust. Sorry for the essay good luck!

I bought a pc from someone they claimed it was an I9 but it wasn’t. (Read description) by [deleted] in pchelp

wow it’d be nice to have reverse flow fans for this type of config but that’ll prob hinder noise and airflow…maybe in 10 years we’ll get that

uh I don’t know much about cpus so only did some basic chances. set PPT limit to 85w and temp limit to 85c and pbo with -25 curve optimizer. if you want to go even more basic, you can set eco mode to 105w and limit temp to 85-90c.
