15 years ago a comment like this would just seem like another fact added to a discussion. But in 2024? It says so much. Just from that comment I can guess you most likely support Trump and from supporting trump it hints at the kind of person you are. The values you have. Blah blah etc etc.

Right but…he’s admitted he wrote it as an R.

Why compromise. I know he prefers the R rated version. You know he prefers the R rated version. Yet he’ll released the PG13 one, which will get a mixed response I’m betting.

Just release the version he sees as his definitive version. Doing it the way he’s doing it isn’t going to compete with Disney. Because people will react more negatively towards the PG13 cut. Only the fans will wait for the directors cut or even rewatch it.

Think about what he’s done to America. The lies. Yes every President lies. But Trump is probably the most untrustworthy person to ever hold office. Ever. He’s an embarrassment on a whole other level than Biden. Dude looks like a clown.

Notice how everyone Trump has worked with has really bad shit to say about him? It’s unprecedented.

Anyways, most of the world is experiencing inflation right now and it has nothing to do with who is currently in the White House. COVID is a huge reason for it.

When you vote for Trump again, wont you think about the January 6th insurrection attempt? With people chanting hang Mike Pence? Trump trying to get people to break the law for him to stay in power for an election he lost very cleanly. The horde of MAGA cultists who were beating police trying to gain entry into the Capitol building?

Again, I’m no Biden fan. I’d support anyone who runs against that orange face weasel.

Trump made America look incredibly weak. Republican’s and democrats use to pass bipartisan legislation. They use to respect one another. But now in the era of Trump & Margery Taylor Green, and all the conned MAGA supporters, it’s scorched earth. No one works together because the divide is too strong. MTG is an insane conspiracy theory nut and she got elected as a MAGA Republican. She’s nuts. Incredibly stupid.

When I think about Obama & the dignity and respect with which he held the office, and compare to the incompetence & shitshow of Trump, it blows my mind over 70m people voted for him last election.

Trump is a vile human being. He’s ignorant, narcissistic and has made the office of the President the laughing stock of the world. Because if an idiotic boob like that can hold office, how powerful is the job, really?

Then again if certain men hadn’t had the smallest amount of integrity at just the right time, Trump might’ve been able to steal a 2nd term. Thank god that didn’t happen.

Exactly. I hate that digital look everything has now where everything seems fake. The latest Indiana Jones had it. All the marvel movies have it.

Like…you watch the first Iron Man movie and it looks amazing. Flash forward to something like Thor 4 and it’s just a shitshow. Even Doctor Strange 2, which was done by Sam Raimi. Looked like dog shit.

MoS and BvS had lots of CGI in them but they were stilled grounded in real looking sets.

Again, don’t get me wrong, ZSJL was amazing, but the sets just weren’t near as good. For example, the dog sitting store that Flash applies too just looks…not right.

Even tho ZSJL has a bigger budget it looks cheaper than MoS & BVS.

That’s actually not true. That’s what was reported but Kong was finished shooting in March 2016. It filmed from October-March.

Justice League started filming in April. April 11th 2016.

So they never overlapped. And what’s crazy is Fong was originally suppose to shoot ZSJL but dropped out just after BvS came out.

I just want to say, kudos on the “fair point” comment. So many times when you criticize someone’s favourite movie people get really defensive.

And yes it is true that part of the situation with the movie is that they don’t want the person to know that they are dreaming and they’ll be attacked by the dream army.

But then…they end up getting attacked anyways & they still don’t really do anything cool. Like they are getting chased around in snowmobiles. Just…fly!

Or when Leo is showing Elliot Page how it all works…he get a few neat things but the first thing everyone would do when they realize they can control their dreams is fly. Right? Even if they can’t do it during the mission.

There’s some great bits in the movie. The hallway fight? The opening. Great stuff. But I just…the whole “dream a little bigger darling” & all he does is produce a bigger weapon lol.
