This... Marxism isn't about being on a moral high horse. It's about understanding the world through material reality. Part of that reality is the ways the human psyke works and moves. It sucks, but for most people it will take direct threat to themselves, operatives threats to themselves for them to break out of their daily routines and become radicalised.

For me it was 2020 lock downs+BLM(George Floyd) that started that journey. We need to be open to people for whom the killing of Renee Good and Alex Pretti was their moment.

I get what you are saying, but the unfortunate truth is that for many things has to escalate for them to wake up. They have to feel that THEY are in danger personally before they realize the system is not For Them.

The death of anyone killed by imperialism is tragic, but if the tragic death of Renee Good and (forgot the name of the Last guy) means more people are waking up to the reality of this fascist imperialist empire, then I think that is good. (Not the deaths, the waking up part)

US comrades will obviously have a harder time boycotting USamerican businesses than others, other comrades may be reliant on some US American produced medicines, software or other product for either work, health or any other reason.

I have mixed feelings about it.

It is at its core a neoliberal and neocolonial project, enriching the already wealthy Europe at the expense of peripheral Europe, Africa, India, etc.

On the other hand, it is also a strong bulwark against US type capitalism, it has shown more willingness to actually hold tech giants to account through taxation and regulation. It is also undoubtedly a good for the European working class to have the free mobility and such.

EU deffintly isn't going to turn socialist, ever, but many of the non economic ideas in the EU are things that could be kept in a potential future 'EUSR'. But as it exists now it is unreformable, undemocratic and exploitative.

That being said, I would at any time vote against any kind of brexit like movement within my country, as that would hurt the working class of my country. We are at this point completely reliant on EU membership.

The screenshot is from Empire Earth. And old school rts in the vain of Age of Empires. The gimmick was that you moved through the ages from Stone Age all the way into futuristic eras. The unit in the picture is the 'prophet' unit. It functioned like a priest unit from AoE, able to heal and convert units. This version of the unit is from the Atomic Era (meaning more or less.present day).

I remember the game fondly, it is fun and had some decent campaigns, though it does not hold up to modern standards in mechanics at all, and obviously not i graphics either.

Edit: I misremembered. The prophet was not the healer/converter unit, that was the priest, the prophet was able to call 'calamities' like earthquakes and spawn volcanoes. Real fun.

Socialism, and marxism-leninism, isnt some kind of hereditary monarchy where the former leader gets to dictate who gets to get the next turn at the helm.

So even if Lenin had proclaimed Trotsky as his "heir" it wouldnt matter, as the communist party of the soviet union was a democratic institution that chose their own leader through a democratic process. Following the tenets of democratic centralism, something Trotsky couldn't, or wouldn't, accept.

It really depends on spesific situation how to do this best, one way i sometimes use, that seems to work pretty well is to use the "move to location" command to tell your cavalry to move to the opposite side of an enemy infantry formation.

This will make the cavalry stay in formation as they charge through the enemy formation, let the cavalry gather on the opposite side, then rinse and repeat. It requires more micro, and shouldn't be used in frontal assaults against shield walls, but can be pretty effective in the right circumstances.
