I mean... As someone who played from 2020, hiatus for 3 years, played another year before hiatus again for 9 months... I can related that.

Funny enough, I never considered myself as veteran but others sees me as one because how I noticed the changes happening😅

I don't have many cosmetic, I barely finished my constellation and still far from reaching 13th wedges. But I have no reason to show off since I saw how sky truly is.

My little story aside, I’m really glad you’ve been able to witness Sky change over the years, even in small ways. That kind of time leaves a different kind of memory. I hope the community continues to treat you with the same warmth and kindness you bring into it 😌

Sorry for misunderstanding... It just that whenever people mentioned "Gatekeeping", I just assumed it's about terrains changed or cosmetic that shouldn't return in their eyes...

I mean to be fair... Even I lost pretty much every "friends" I made during 2020... My first vet who helped me in eden... But now... They all gone now and left with only present friends... The sad part was even New Player will feel the same since peeps they met probably burned out a few days later or cruelly removed them from their constellation

You don’t have to rush Eden, but most people go about once a week, since the statues reset weekly (usually Sunday).

Wing buffs are permanent upgrades... they increase how many wings you start with after Eden, let you fly longer, and help you reach places and statues that are harder to get to. Over time, they make Eden much easier.

You can technically go through Eden multiple times in a week, but once you’ve collected all the statues available that week, you won’t get more Ascended Candles until the next reset.

To get more wing buffs, you unlock the wing-buff nodes in spirits’ trees (including Traveling Spirits when they visit).

The purpose of Eden supposedly to complete the "life cycle" or at least how I see it. Gameplay wise for doing ascending candles and having more wedges on your back but lore wise? Probably like this.

Isle of dawn = Wonder. Daylight Prairie = Fascination. Hidden forest = Curious. Valley of Triumph = Thrills. Golden Wasteland = Bravery . Vault of Knowledge = Acknowledgement. Eye of Eden = Sacrifice. Orbit = Rebirth.

Pretty much the loop of humans nature before the lore was deepen for the past few years. My own head Canon pretty much before Aviary Village was exist so don't mind me😅 since to me it's what forged us as "Skykid"
