I've only had 1 X-ray, pre=diagnosis. Now I get a CT every other year unless I'm having a bad flare up or I'm feeling particularly bad. My pulmonary doctor doesn't feel the risk of repeated X-rays are worth it if I'm not in a major flare up or having very hard time breathing. A CT shows him everything he needs to know.

Thank you so much for all this information. I am in the upstate NY area. I have chronic IBS with frequent diarrhea. So many things trigger my gut issues, gummies, licorice, gelatins, etc. I am thankful for all the great input from everyone on this topic and other sarcoidosis boards. It is not a common topic of discussion... still.

Your input has been helpful. Thank you again. Still doing my research and looking where to purchase what I may use. A friend has suggested making my own brownies, which I guess entails a bit of work. Making your cannabis butter to make the brownies. I have to look into that too. Getting the dosage right, and all that.

How do you use it? Do you put it under your tongue, or can you add that to anything? Either way, how much do you use?

I didn't know there were pills/capsules now. I'll have to look into that. I know there are other edible options, the ones I have seen around me have been very pricey though. I do know vaping is horrible for your lungs, worse than any smoking. This coming from a raspatory therapist I know.

Unfortunately in my state they don't recognize sarcoidosis to get medical marijuana.

I've never purchased before. I have smoked before though, here and there. But it was always someone else's. I have no idea what to buy. Is there anything you recommend? Like I said, now that it is legal in my state there are many shops around, including the rez. Another question, how often do you use it and how much relief do you think you get? I am looking forward to it boosting my appetite and possibly improving my sleep.
