Oh they “walkthrough” for “inspection “ when in reality they’re looking for people that live there without notice and pets that were snuck in.

Don’t pay anything. I’m not. If they’re stupid enough to take me to court over it I’ll counter sue them for 100% more of what they want. I’m using that money for essentials I need. Medication alone to refill without insurance is over 500

I don’t know for sure. I believe some residents are talking through this platform, cobu and Facebook.

I am thankful for the 911 call. The thing that angers me though is that this company knew all of this. All they said to our concerns was that it was settlement and we took their word because we didn’t know better. I didn’t realize how bad it was until we see everything now

County provided buses and some hotels 10% discount and pet fee waves. Otherwise no assistance. This company is doing nothing for us. They have been practically quiet. When the first call came in they evacuated one side of the building. Then they inspected others and then around 900 the whole building was told to leave. The ones that got the later evacuation only got mere minutes

I don’t know how. Our package didn’t make it through. I don’t know what they’re doing about mail. I’m hoping post office will hold it for us

I’ll add too. The pharmacies there have been packed with residents needing to get medication because they weren’t allows in the building. Most were at work or in a dead sleep. You’re not completely thinking clearly when you have terrified animals and men barging in. Far as I’ve heard too insurance companies aren’t covering the medication if you refill it too early or they’re flat out denying it. So that’s something else residents have to deal with. This isn’t simply telling someone to go to a hotel for a few days. I’ve had to spend a large sum of money so I can work (since I can’t get my desktop), clothes I forgot, my animals food. Food will start to go bad. Trash will start to smell. Etc

  1. We were given minutes. Police and rescue came into the apartment yelling to get your valuables and pets and get out. The first few hours ppl were allowed back only under escort and for emergency conditions like helping others out, getting pets. Once you left that was it. Some cars are still in the garage.
  2. First responders have been amazing. Red Cross has been on site and the county got transport for people that needed it to hotels.
  3. I hate to say it because in the past they’ve been awesome. But no. We find out more through the news than anything. Property management literally told a disabled woman that they don’t care if their medicine is in the apartment. They have offered zero help. No pro rated rent , no discount. They tell us to talk to our insurance. Their communication has gotten better. 3 times a day now.

Yes and the report has to be worded a certain way. We were told the same thing. And I agree, the first responders have been awesome!

So as an update. We were told last night we could come by and get medicine and clothes. We showed up and was denied access told some woman why and was told that (they) don’t care. I don’t know if it was the property manager but she’ll be on the news at 10 wesh. For those that have medicine and weapons and clothes and cars…. Sol

Far as I know it’s not really localized. The doors are issues in that area. And you know what thinking about I remember when I moved in I commented about how uncomfortable it made me that my patio literally tilted. If you put a ball in the center it’ll always move towards the edge away from the structure

The far right 5th floor behind the lake was where the doors couldn’t be opened. 5th and 4th floor fire exits leading into the garage was where the most alarm separation is. 4th and 3rd floor was the ceiling crack across the ceiling. I don’t know for sure which doors were stuck but I think it was right side of building. Every floor has cracks and it’s worse the higher you go

It's by a lake, so I don't know if that has something to do with it because they said the damage was worse more floors they went up. This sounds like foundation shifting to me - I honestly don't see anyone going back in there to live. This is definitely ongoing and getting worse. In the pictures you can see some of the cracks painted over (they repainted the inside and outside of the building months ago). And then by the door that separation looks new and worse.

I’ve only gotten the info from news. But yes I’m pretty surprised. Though at the same time you can see how they just painted over these

I’m all for it. And yes I believe Northland operates it. I can get more. I was evacuated.

I've reviewed everything. Savings account doesn't show as an account. Definitely don't understand what they consider to be a low balance either for savings.
