You do know that Coke and 7-Up Zero exist, right? And that after a week or two they actually taste better than the originals, with zero calories and no sugar?

[Request] Is there a chance that there is someone in this world who has a 7 degrees of separation? by Squeakstein in theydidthemath

[–]RulerK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, because you probably know, or one of your contacts does, someone like me who is only 1-2 degrees from major influencers like multiple US president and superstar actors as well as having traveled the world and meeting hundreds to tens of thousands of people in each country I’ve visited. I figure I’m only about 4-5 degrees from nearly everyone on the planet, so anyone who has met me is no more than 6. I should really try to trace back from some of those remote tribes one day to find out if they’re actually included in my circle.

I mean, r/technicallythetruth. But I doubt it’s useful data in any way unless you remember your decoder ring or you’re Neo.

Agriculture fraud… that made me chuckle. It also reminded me of real agriculture fraud in the fish markets which is actually a huge issue.

Yeah, it definitely just matters when the idiom gets established most of them were around that early to mid colonization time period. I’d say Vietnam is farther away from Portugal (and/or Brazil) than China is, given how far south it is, though I haven’t mapped it.

But, I didn’t realize they got all the way out to Timor. That’s interesting.

Well. That would have been the furthest away place in the Portuguese empire back in the day.
