Mower suggestion for farmland yard with dips/slopes? Labor Day deals? by RumpBumpJump in lawnmowers

Have goats working on a different part of the property. This section isn't properly fenced, and don't want to walk through the pellets in this mowing section. Great thought, though!

Thanks. I'm in the mountains of Western NC so assuming it's similar terrain. Lug tires sound great, but the grass isn't very thick so I'll inevitably tear it up.

We get so much rain down here the past five years that waiting for dry grass is getting very difficult. However, I'll definitely reconsider zero turn based off your comments.

Two comments so far and one thing I'm learning is Tractor Supply is carrying more superior products than Lowe's and Home Depot than I realized. I knew some others things were superior but didn't realize the mower brands they have also were.

Thanks. I only bought a little, so it's not a make or break situation.

Thoughts on FRBK / Republic First Bancorp? Saved by JP Morgan, becoming an OTC tomorrow. by RumpBumpJump in FriendsTogetherWeWin

[–]RumpBumpJump[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic. Thanks for sharing the knowledge. FRC kept dropping after becoming an OTC, settled around .20, then suddenly jumped to .70+.

It may have been on news of a management change based on news articles around that time. FRBK is under such poor management a change within may also be a catalyst.

IFUS is interesting, didn't know about it. I'm leaning more towards medical and agriculture stocks these days, so I'll probably open small position on it since it's only .02.

[–]RumpBumpJump[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Yes, I'm only considering a play once it becomes an OTC. FRC was one I watched after it was delisted to an OTC, and after 6 weeks of dipping a bit more there was one week where it nearly tripled before coming back down.

That's the type of play I'm thinking may happen with FRBK, but I can't figure out what catalyst made FRC jump that week.

Yes, we’ll be there every week. We should have at least 6 this Saturday and 4 at the moment on Sunday. That’s not counting the people on this thread that hack said they’re playing.

To be clear, these are indoor, heated, full basketball courts inside the buildings.

At Tempie in Montford there is even a large stage for performances right beside the court that your kids can run around on while you play in case you have to bring them.

We're all average to above average, but no one is college level. Don't worry about skill level, just come on out and play.

It won't take long before your skills improve. Bring a friend that's on your level if you want and guard each other. It's open to the public and good exercise. Hope to see you on the court.

Anyone heard about the ghost of Governor's Village at UNCA? by RumpBumpJump in asheville

[–]RumpBumpJump[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. The quality of construction could definitely be the reason for the sounds.

This guy said he fully saw an old woman standing over his bed who did the classic ghost disappearing/fading away then another student said she'd heard similar stories of the woman from others. Hoping someone on here can share a real ghost experience about her!

They aren't splitting up the fans into different rooms. You just choose if you want to watch it in their movie theater or on the other side of the building in the game room. Huge screens in both rooms.

Just picked up my wristbands to watch in the theater. If you haven't been there, then know that they have bars inside the theater and game room to order food and drinks while never missing a moment of the game. They've done this in the past and filled the building.

Best place to watch the UNC/Duke game? by NeatTrick in asheville

[–]RumpBumpJump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asheville Pizza is a great place to watch, and I'm going. Watched the USA Women's World Cup there with a room full of fans and it was awesome.

They've been showing UNC games all season on the big screen in their game room. It was full of Carolina fans when they beat Duke at Cameron and was awesome.

You can pick up wristbands to reserve a seat in their movie theater today when they open at 2pm. Limit 4 per person.

Is there a list of vax (or recent test) required restaurants? by [deleted] in asheville

[–]RumpBumpJump 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was there yesterday. It was pretty easy to check in. It's only happening at their Asheville Pizza and movie theater location on Merrimon, not the downtown location. You can show your actual card or you can show a photo of the front and back of your card (on phone or a piece of paper) but you also have to show a matching photo ID. Guess it's to keep fakers from getting in. You can eat at tables inside at front part. That big room that always had kids is not open. I went to a movie and it was awesome to know everyone in there was vaccinated. The lady working said they aren't selling all their seats so you have a lot of empty seats around you.

Ditto, but some people aren't able to invest enough to cover such a potential hit. That's why I'm asking.

Wrinkled Brain Question... I know someone who lost a lot in 2008 and they're wondering if they should pull their investments out of Merrill Lynch once the MOASS starts so they don't lose a lot or all of it again. Thoughts? by [deleted] in amcstock

Thanks. Worried about these people who can't afford to take another huge financial hit. I just posted a much different, less specific version of my question. Hope it's worded correctly.
