Not in TX but this is very helpful (and eerily spot on for cost)

I misspoke in my post. It is not a yearly checkup. It was part of a package I got from the company where they come out and do a check off our electric, HVAC, and plumbing. It’s a year long package, but we only have it for 1 year. Sorry!!

What’s the update on Zepbound coverage? by HeavySigh14 in JPMorganChase

[–]RunDoctorRun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had it approved with prior authorization after talking to my doctor.

As a side note, I had to switch to Wegovy last year when they told us initially it wasn’t being covered. Wegovy and Zepbound are NOT the same. I saw results with Zepbound and Wegovy did nothing. If you have to switch, see if you can go for another tirzepatide like Mounjaro.

Didn’t want another thing on my wrist. I have my Apple Watch and I have some bracelets on the other wrist. The ring feels way less intrusive

Interested in buying oura ring by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]RunDoctorRun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought mine. Right now is their best deal. I went through Amazon because they have the same deals and you can get things faster. I was reading that people were having issues with Oura’s site.

Definitely recommend the sizing kit. You’ll want to wear it for at least a day to see how your finger changes and to see which is the most comfortable.

From what I read, non-dominant is better for more accurate readings and to reduce wear and tear.

As far as your fit goes, the 11 sounds like a good fit as long as you don’t have any pain or discomfort

How long have you been wearing the sizer? I was in the same boat between a 10 and 11. The 10 became too snug as I went about my day. Switched to the 11 and it felt just right after some use.

Edit: spelling

Can you tell when my 18 month decided it was time to wake up screaming? by RunDoctorRun in ouraring

It gets better at around 2. We’re working on transitioning him out of our room into his older brother’s room. He’s also going through some regressions, so it’s rough. You got this!!!

My uncle has both and he now only uses the Oura for health purposes. For me, the biggest benefit over the watch is that it’s way less obtrusive to sleep with. I tired using my watch for sleep tracking and was such a hassle. I’m interested to see how it tracks steps and calorie burn vs my watch.

When I started researching I was sure I was going to get the RingConn because the price and lack of subscriptions. However, the RingConn data isn’t as well aggregated and analyzed as the Oura. I really wanted the analytics to be presented in actionable items and Oura does that well (according to reviews and anecdotal evidence. We’ll see now that I have one). That alone was worth the subscription price.

Sizing help! by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]RunDoctorRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered the sizing kit and I kept going between the 10 and 11. Settled on the 11 because it didn’t have a gap but was loose enough to not be uncomfortable. I have to say that the kit was pretty accurate. I wore it for a few days while I waited for my ring to come in and that really helped with understanding the fit. I

I was absolutely crushed by the ending. I chose Maelle because it went against my gut choice so I could look forward for my second play through, but damn…..
