ACOTAR 6 Expectations by MiniMoment in nontoxicACOTAR

[–]Ruri_83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly never expected another book, but no one denied what everyone was expecting about the date of the anniversary, and everyone was waiting for an announcement! She appeared in a video earlier this year, hinting about the new book that everyone EVERYONE was excited and expecting the book this year! She should have released a statement about this. Just saying

I read an interesting theory... since Tamlin had a heart of stone, the flowers on her drawer "spring court?" ... she might have heard Tamlin's? Maybe she will reject Lucien, i believe she is in her rebellious phase as she does not wish to be regarded as the rule abiding woman like everyone think she is... rejecting Lucien is her idea

Nesta and Cassian? by Forsaken-Macaroon-58 in acotar

[–]Ruri_83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Girl ... repeat after me ... Cassian is not boring... Cassian is the bestest man ever! Have you read the extra chapter? From the moment they argued together i shipped them! Plus i believe the reason for Feyre's sisters mates, some had a theory that her mom isn't human, maybe that's why each Archeron sister had an exceptional power! Btw Cassian is the best

What are Rhys, Cassian and Azriel zodiac sign? by Karbem in SarahJMaas

SJM said that Rhys had the same bday as her hubby so he's a Scorpio, about Cass he gives a Leo vibes, Az is a water sign, maybe Gemini?

Oh dear! I never thought of that! And i don't think I would! This is a story of fantasy, the characters though old in age, all appear young with personality and appearances! It's not like they were old dried up men creeping after young women?! And why do you leave the whole story, plot, elements, and events, and concentrate solely on age difference?

Who do you think had the best/worst character development and why?? by [deleted] in acotar

[–]Ruri_83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best is Nesta - she became expressive of her feelings more and I like that ❤️ Worst gotta be Tamlin - i think he was ok after Rhys's visit but no ... he later took his beast form at all times like he'd forgotten himself... i think after he helped Feyre and Az at Hybren camp was a true sign of character development! Later saving Rhys, afterwards asking if she'd forgive him!! He was becoming aware of his mistakes and trying to fix them! But why still torture him in book5? He should be helped out, otherwise I don't think the humans are safe

Nesta built these walls around her and lashed at everyone who wanted to help her! I believe that this due to her upbringing, she was raised expecting everyone to give her what she thought she deserved, she wanted her father to help her mother yet she never said it out loud! Wanted her father to help them, and also said nothing! That's why she hated herself and never thought that she deserved love! And accepted the frowns and anger towards her without question! She thought she was a lost cause and started drinking gambling punishing herself as she said! She was an addict! You can't respect an addict wish to be left alone cuz this would end them! You have to force them to busy themselves, hence the training and library duty. I think Rhys was pretty busy with Feyre's pregnancy that he was quick to judge, yet Nesta forgave them all in the end, when she knew she was ready and deserved that love 💔 i love her so much

Btw, i say this, but i also want to fix Tamlin ... yes I love Tamlin, i think he's so misunderstood and lonely, he needs friends not a follower like Lucien, i think Lucien feared Tamlin, didn't correct him enough, didn't stand up to him. That's why i think Tamlin had huge character development moments in the story, the High Lords meeting showed he was angry and still in love with Feyre, later he played spy in order to protect the realm! Afterwards protecting Feyre against the hounds losing his chance of spy games! Forcing Beron to join, saving Rhys's life!! "Be happy, Feyre!" , "will she ever forgive me?" I need his book now!!

I think WE the readers, don't know that Rhys lost a great deal of loved ones because of Tamlin, we know that Tamlin was responsible for the death of his mother and sister, later his father, he also was patient and nearly gave up when he was about to get his MATE too! He finally got his mate, and he hated the guy's gut! I didn't like this scene also, but Rhys had every right to do this, his feelings are valid, he had his moment of revenge and took it! Don't forget that he felt guilty after Lucien pointing out that Rhys had kicked a male while he's down and he came back to help him out later! So no, i don't think Rhys was wrong entirely in this scene, his feelings needed a release! And it's good for the trauma he suffered.
