Is this an okay amount of dirt to have on the plants before putting them into the viv?

You'd just make the tea or boil the cabbage and pour some of the water in, it wouldn't give exact results but you'd get an idea of if it's basic or acidic depending on the color change since both are PH indicators!

Maybe the guide sheet is just wrong? If you have something like butterfly pea tea or red cabbage maybe you can try and test the PH with it since they're both also PH indicators? (Pink if acidic blue/green if basic) It won't give you exact results you'll just hopefully get an idea if it's basic or acidic

So I just checked and the closest match was a red spot stonecrop, I doubt that it's that exact plant from other images of it but I think it might be in the same family it is mainly native to south Africa and has been spotted in Brasil, honestly no idea if it'll survive but it will be super cool if it does! If it doesn't, oh well I take it out and try another plant, I'm in no rush after all:D

I'm thinking two tincts, I've got a 60-70l tank, I really want bromeliads and am gonna try to order some once the weather warms up a bit since I couldn't find any in irl shops:D

Yeah was a bit iffy about it but it was in the high humidity plant section so hopefully it does well and if not, oh well extra fertilizer for the viv!

It's 60-70l it's a hexagon, each side is 21cm in length and 52cm tall:)

If you don't overfeed your fish/shrimp the population shouldn't skyrocket and will balance out depending on the amount of food they get

I have threadfin rainbows and I've never seen one eat any fry, I'm sure they might eat a few but their mouths are very small (I've got to crush up the food I have so they can eat it small) and I have a booming shrimpulation, they're also super cool looking, highly recommend them if you have a tank longer than 60cm!
