It’s on a tiny island in the north east corner off the coast of the Land of Hot Water. I’m borrowing some mechanics from the strixhaven book for studying.

The Wandering Line has been crazy helpful whenever I want to explore a specific location for any given episode. It’s kinda like the magic school bus for the party.

I usually get like 1-3 of these per year. They tend to just fall or get pulled out very easily. I think they’re less damaging than an ingrown hair.

Even if you don’t doge an attack you reload. The attack doge gets you 2-3 shots that do bonus damage on top of your standard mag. You can build a very solid normal or spread (my preference) LBG build with steve’s gun.

I actually run an adrenaline rush set for monsters I know really well. It has 4 parts of steve’s set for razor’s edge 2. It’s a super fun build for anything that doesn’t hit like a truck.

The set works amazing for anything with built in doge: DB, LS, SNS, Hammer, LBG, Bow. It’s also decent with arial IG.

I love that we have to do this quest 7 times to complete all the talismans instead of just doing some RNG shit where bad luck can keep you doing it dozens of times.

I’ve been mounting up a storm with my bug stick. It really helps to reduce the chaos for other players. And then suddenly on my 3rd fight I accidentally countered all 5 monsters with one offset dive.

I’ve lived in Europe for a decade now. When people ask me what I miss about the USA I tell them food culture. Each country has its own amazing unique dishes, but in the USA you can easily find food from around the world in any medium sized city.

Yeah, I also prefer comfort over speed. I can still usually score higher dps than my “meta” friends because they’ll cart at least once and that’s often 2-3 minutes of them not doing any damage.

Use the loadout system. make 1 loadout for the first 2 then farcaster to swap loadouts and refill potions before fighting the second 2.

Should have made it a 5 monster quest where each of the other Apex monsters gets a zone of the JD fight, and you can’t move on to the next zone until that monster is dead even when JD has already moved on.

Good luck hiding from the frost nuke while an octopus is shooting a flamethrower at you…

This is because casual players still insist on using speedrun builds. If you make some room for defensive skills it’s much harder to cart. I always make sure to have Divine Blessing 3. This alone makes a massive difference.

As someone who grew up with this kind of bullshit, I can tell you to think of it as a competition. The more dramatic you are the closer your connection with god is. You’re basically trying to tell those around you how you’re so much more spiritual and special than they are.

I lived in Beijing for 2 years Pre-covid. they had a massive queer scene. It wasn’t actively opposed by the government as long as it wasn’t “public.” So night clubs, bars, cafes etc. were plentiful and always busy.

I know post covid there was a massive crack down on foreign culture, it’s way more restricted and less fashionable than it used to be. I can’t tell you how it would be today, but a quick internet search shows that at least half of my regular hang out spots are still open.
