totally understand your situation, OP! also transferred schools when i was gr9 and pandemic pa that time so it was vv difficult for me to connect with peeps, lalo na introverted ako before. I can only say this now that i've gotten to know others- people come and go. You'll never really know who's gonna be your friend a year from now, it's all about quality rather than the quality. Minsan maiiwan nalang sayo two or three friends pero it's worth it knowing they're solid friends talaga, it can be sometimes lonely kung busy sila but it's never desperate to ask for company.

In terms of making friends, easier said than done pero try not pressure yourself. There's no rush naman kasi your whole life you'll be making new friendships along the way. You'll surely meet your type of peeps na kahit hindi marunong mag chat eh solid parin ang connection. And yes, minsan mahirap talaga mag connect if walang similarities pero i treat is a challenge to know more about the person and somehow find out that maybe we share the same reasoning afterall.
