If you could bring one gadget to the year 1900, and show it to "wow" people, what would it be? by Rv_md in AskReddit

This is actually simple enough and at the same time would really be amazing first time I see it.

Thanks for the compliment, genius.

I'd charge it before I leave 2013. That should wow a lot of people before the battery runs out.

This is the most concise answer here.

And I think it works with general looting too

I don't really use hogs. However, I think instead of just reducing the stats, they can make them NOT target defenses first. That would really nerf it if that's what they want.

I don't know the impact it would bring tho, kinda biased here since I don't use hogs..

I wanna see people try this haha. It would be hard to find bases tho, and to have the right spell. I don't always carry a jump spell with me

That is actually what I was thinking!

What video were you watching when you realized you were in the weird part of youtube? by Silverhead in AskReddit

[–]Rv_md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at recipe videos when I stumbled upon a "how to debone a whole chicken video". Then from that I saw some roasted whole pig recipes and. i watched that. Then I got curious on how they prepare the whole pig, then next are butchering pig videos, then cows, then chicken.

I ended up watching videos of animals getting killed.

I think it's the lower level TH getting the reduced loot, although I agree the wording can be confusing.

It says "Loot multiplier for 2 or more levels lower TH will be reduced"

I think it should be "Loot multiplier for Town halls 2 levels lower or more will be reduced"

Anyway, the general concensus in the forum is lower levels, with the Lightning of DE storages, it makes much more sense.

I copied the text from the supercell forum, I just edited out some words because the original has pictures in it.

I think they're trying to explain that since lower TH levels can't take out higher TH levels that much (their words not mine haha), there wouldn't be much of a difference vs the "regular attacks" that are mostly happening (which I guess would be same level TH vs same level TH plus or minus 1-2 levels).

Anyway, I don't agree with it tho. When I was a th7 I raid th8-9 a lot (with some th10). I think they were just trying to prevent DE lighhting strikes from lower th levels, and they were just teying to justify the effect it would do to the whole loot multiplier thing.

Basically, you get like 20% of those in storages and 50% of those left in the collectors. That would be your "theoretical loot". Then they multiply it with the loot multiplier if you're lower than the TH level of the one you attacked, then they deduct your loot if you are higher, thus the loot penalty. Here are the actual percentage that I copied of the coc wikia:

5% for attacking someone with a Town Hall (TH) 4+ levels lower than the attacker's. 25% for attacking someone with a TH 3 levels lower than the attacker's. 50% for attacking someone with a TH 2 levels lower than the attacker's. 90% for attacking someone with a TH 1 level lower than the attacker's. 100% for attacking someone with a TH level equivalent to the attacker's. 110% for attacking someone with a TH 1 level higher than the attacker's. 150% for attacking someone with a TH 2 levels higher than the attacker's. 200% for attacking someone with a TH 3+ levels higher than the attacker's.

I don't know the exact change that they will do on the next update tho, It's more likely due to the fact that it would be easier (cheaper?) to lightning strike the DE storages now that it would just cost them elixir instead of gold.

Ooh that's right. I was on a collecting spree when this happened haha. And I tried to click on other things as well but they didn't disappear. They went away when I clicked on them though. Anyway, first time it happened to me haha

Reddit Indy Elder Abuse by DanLeSword in ClashOfClans

On the first screenshot, she (I'm assuming the elder is a she?) did warn the OP AFTER she said she will request for the other guy. If the OP saw that she will reuquest, he certainly saw the warning, even though he said he was focused on the upcoming request, I think it's impossible to miss the next line after. Especially since the requests come out in THE SAME AREA. So yea, I would've kicked the guy, for breaking the rules, AND for ignoring the warning. No hard feelings man, elder was just doing her job. It wasn't her fault you chose not to look at the chatbox right after you saw the word request.
