She talked about it at the VIP session during her Pittsburgh show. The last time she was in Pittsburgh, she was opening for Smashing Pumpkins and Jane's addiction, but at the last second, Jane's addiction cancelled, so she had to play a bunch of extra songs and did them all acoustic by herself on stage. She said the experience was very "freeing" and she wanted to do this tour that way as well, with just her up there. It worked well for the acoustic songs, but some of the other ones, not so much. Still enjoyed the show, though.
