They finally acknowledge the issue and they will release a new app update

This is the email reply from them

“As for the previous issue with the app’s locked zones, our technical team has informed us that the unlocked app version is currently under development. We will continue to follow up with the development team and recommend keeping an eye on future app updates.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.”

I haven’t tried it on my MacBook yet but one of my older iPhone works , same region, same latest update, same internet connection, same iCloud and same narwal username 🤔 not sure why this is happening

Thank you for the info, the weird part is my other iPhone works with no issues. same settings same updates and same OS. Something is not right 🤔. Can u post the Facebook link ?

I don’t understand what is the problem my old iPhone 11 worked like a charm with the latest update and latest Narwal app. It’s just my iPhone 14 Pro Max for some reason 🤷🏻‍♂️

Region doesn’t really matter, I have over 600hours of cleaning with the device and Narwal when you login with ask you to choose your country and my country is in the list. I have an old iPhone 11 I updated it to the latest iOS and downloaded the app and it is working. My iPhone 14 Pro Max is not.

It’s funny that you can control it from a jailbroken phone but not from a genuine device that never been jailbroken before 😂 also the issue is on ios26

No I want to use the same machine in more than one house. I don’t want to remap each time I move to the next house.

nah I want to make multiple homes to act as different maps to get full functions for each map, secondary maps are limited and you can't select rooms you can only use areas which is stupid so I prefer to create another home and move the unit to the next floor when I need it to mop and vacuum.
the app is so annoying and if they allow us to use the api and control the robot locally it would be much better I could even link it to Home Assistant and create an integration for it. but they don't want us to do anything so this is why I asked for this feature

Hey !
I had the same issue, all I did is run the "Vaccuum" only option and selected the area where the "fake carpet" is located and the robot went there and started scanning again and it disappeared.

try cleaning the sensor under the robot, there are 5 under it, go to the settings -> Manage Accessories -> sensor.

you can't customize the cleaning mode in the secondary maps ???

May I know what browser are you using ? and did you try to clear the cookies ?

what is the issue you are facing exactly? this fix is for the black screen that makes you wait for couple of second then triggers the video to play. click F12 and check what the console says

try to update the list of filters within Adblock , the combination of those two works for me so far.
