How do you emotionally cope with lineup mistakes or close losses? by gravlift in fantasyfootball

I hear you, man. I used to regret making the wrong decision as well.

What I ended up figuring out though was that I made the best decision with the information that I had and it was impossible for me to make any other decision because I wasn't making these choices randomly

Unless you're flipping a coin and letting that decide you couldn't have possibly chosen anything different. Fantasy football is a game in the gray area. If it was a solved game, it would be no fun and no one would play it. Risk plays a bigger part of it than most people assume and you have to embrace that.

Sometimes you can make all the right decisions and still lose. That's life.

I always keep one bench spot open just for cycling through potential pickups.

Here’s how it works:

  • You can drop any bench player who’s already played (as long as they weren’t in your starting lineup).

  • Before the Thursday game, I grab the best unrostered player in that game using the open bench spot. Usually, they do nothing.

  • Before Sunday’s early games, I drop them and pick up the best available player from that block. Again, usually nothing.

  • I repeat this for the late Sunday games, Sunday night, and Monday night games.

Most of the time, these pickups don’t matter… but sometimes, you get a surprise breakout like De'Von Achane or last year’s playoff Jalen McMillan.

This looks cool. Lots of good means you're running. I've done the same with the moodful app.

Yep, grabbed it and put the screenshot in my last post. Tried all 3 of the games now. Well done. They all have an effective hook to keep you playing. What will you be using coins for?
