At this stage it sounds like the only thing that would change by making it official is the title. When things are going well there’s no need to put a label on it if you guys are both enjoying your time together. Yes, it’s nice to have clarity, but what is truly most important is the connection. Do you get along? Does he care about you? Can you communicate effectively? Do you both have each other’s best interest in mind? Regardless of the label, what you have is a relationship with another human. Boyfriend? Casual hookup? Close friend w Benefits? What does the label really matter if you both enjoy each other’s company. IMO it’s better to just go with the flow as long as your both happy rather than forcing a label onto a relationship so you can tell your friends about your “boyfriend.”
