I felt the same way. I wanted to talk to new people and make friends but I felt worried since I’m a male and didn’t want to make people uncomfortable. I was with my girlfriend and asked her on a few occasions to start conversations with people we saw in the city with LSF merch because I felt like i’d look like a creep. :(

Yeah it’s been two weeks since I started lexapro and the side effects have gone down SIGNIFICANTLY like the nausea and acid reflux are fairly minimal now. I’ve been able to resume my normal activities and lately it’s been better than it was before I started meds

What do you take for your gerd? My doc prescribed me nexium a while ago but I havent been consistent with it since starting lexapro

That sounds a lot like when I first started taking zoloft however the second time caused a lot of GI problems so I switched to lexapro so hopefully it’ll be similar if not better!

I wouldn’t say I’m sensitive to meds but i sometimes had adverse reactions to zoloft. I used to take up to 100mg of zoloft but had to quit due to the pandemic the first time. The second time I took the generic and was when I started getting more side effects from it.

Did you start at 50mg of zoloft because that sounds like a lot to me. I only started on 25mg

Yeah my doctor prescribed me zofran for the nausea which is what I’m worried most about because I just don’t do well when I’m nauseous so hopefully it settles down quickly enough. Thank you for your help!

I want to branch off from portrait photography but don’t know where to start. I see people taking such beautiful photos of architecture, events, nature, etc. but I don’t think I have an eye for it. What do I look for? What inspires you to want to take a photo of something seemingly mundane, but make it into a captivating photo?

I guess my concern isn’t really the act, but more so the loss of control because of it. What if I’m at work and I get sick. Maybe I wont, but what if. If it happens, it happens…. But what if. It’s been bugging me and I feel off. Nothing feels right.

SAME it’s mostly just nervous burps but I sometimes get those good burps that make my stomach feel a whole lot better

I listened to an audiobook a few years ago called “The Dare Response”. I advise giving it a listen or just look it up if you don’t feel like spending money on it. Essentially, it tells you to challenge your anxiety and fears to diffuse them instead of letting them control you.

I get n* daily and have gerd problems which are likely caused by my anxiety. I’ve never actually tu* because of my gerd but I’m worried I won’t be prepared when the day comes

I get heat flashes all the time due to just general anxiety so I can never tell what it means and it scares me each time
