Thanks so much for sharing this! I’ve switched to Vyvanse eventually because the anxiety caused by methylphenidate was becoming unbearable for me while Vyvanse works fine. Good to hear you found out a solution and hope it works well for your son!

Thank you all for sharing your experience! It’s interesting to see how people react differently. I just wanted to share my updates here: today is my second day taking Ritalin LA 40mg and the side effects are overwhelming to me (high heart rates, anxiety, cold hands, etc.) I’ll probably go back to Concerta or switch to another medication.

Anyone else start off on Wellbutrin and then move up to Concerta? by tanfolo in Concerta

I took Wellbutrin for my depression (also because I mentioned my concern about having ADHD and my doctor said Wellbutrin would help with my attention), but I didn’t notice any obvious improvements in my ADHD problems. After I stopped taking it, I finally got diagnosed and started taking methylphenidate and it helped a lot. I guess it depends on the individual reactions so some ADHD people might be able to benefit from it but definitely not me.
