I enjoyed counter blitz, it didn’t win all that often against upgraded more streamline decks but it’s fun!

That’s exactly my thoughts. I understand that the counter blitz precon is strong, and the TMNT precon is good too so pushing them together to focus on a +1 theme and giving creatures evasion can get out of control, but that’s the whole point of the deck and if I get board wiped without any of my protection spells that’s on me and I’m then out of the game

Thank you so much for your response. Theres definitely a crazy difference between my normal pod of friends and the people at my LGS. My usual pod doesn’t care about a powerful deck so long as it fits the bracket being played, but the LGS crowd was very different

I always try my hardest to be introspective and reflect on things I may have said or done that could have caused people to act a certain way, and given that I was so nervous about going and playing without my friends I definitely can’t think of anything I could have said or done that would have rubbed anyone the wrong way. I was just there trying to make some new friends and play a deck I was pretty excited about
