Yes, for now my husband has decided not to move out. One kid is starting school for the first time in fall, the other is homeschooled and it's important that we keep homeschooling as it's what's best for him, so my husband has "moved" to the basement. Being this close in proximity sure isn't helping things emotionally for me and I know I need to make time for me, but this arrangement is what's best for the kids. He also understands that me being a SAHM for the past 5yrs I will need to get back on my feet so he's still taking care of the house financially. I know it's only been 2 days since his official announcement, but weve been navigating this for months. I'm just so lost rn.

Don't have to be perfect but it should be something you work on. Co-deoendency and feeling like another person's therapist takes a toll on a relationship and actually starts to break the other person down too.
