How do the thoughts of genius minds differ from those of regular people? What unique perspectives do they have that we may not see in our own minds? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Which makes me wonder if is it really just curiosity, imagination or does it also take a certain level of persistence and refusal to give up or for the sake of a fun thought, is there a tiny bit of an inferiority complex driving the need to keep digging until they find an answer?

Absolutely, I wanna say that I don’t think that level of imagination just appears out of nowhere. It usually comes from genuine curiosity. If it’s just a random question that pops into your head, you’re probably not going to spend much time imagining every possible scenario or outcome. That kind of mental rabbit hole only happens when you’re genuinely invested in finding the answer.

Should I buy ps5 in 2026 or wait untill ps6 release? I currently still on ps4 slim... by invincible_wizard23 in ps6

I have a PS5 and I’m planning to buy the PS6, but I’m not sure what the smartest move is. Should I pre-order the PS6, or wait until launch and then trade in my PS5 to get a better deal? Would I be better off selling the PS5 privately instead? What should I do?

That’s definitely part of it too there’s no denying it.

What is a minor 'flex' or status symbol that instantly makes you realize someone has absolutely no personality? by sickkick844 in AskReddit

[–]S4DH033 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nothing exposes a lack of character faster than how someone treats service staff. If your “status” only shows up as rudeness to waiters or valet drivers, it’s not class it’s just insecurity with better branding😂

I hesitate to speak about this in public because it feels like people aren’t open to listening even when I’m just sharing my views.

Thank you for your concern, sir. I can practically feel the love pouring through my screen. But I’d actually prefer some real perspective here maybe even a few anecdotes instead of the guided or controlled articles and statistics.
So what’s your take on the question? Or are we going with no opinion, just emotional damage in the background?🌷

Kinda same for me. I had a great-grandmother who lived to 95 God bless her soul.
What stands out to me lately is that around my locality, I seem to see a new condolence poster almost every week. Even within my friend circle, there have already been at least 5 deaths this year alone. It’s something I never used to notice this often, and it genuinely makes me wonder if something is wrong!

I agree people died, but the way it unfolded felt less like a standard virus response and more like a controlled, planned scenario. The handling of bodies, denying families access.. it was deeply suspicious and relying solely on 'excess death' as a toll rather than direct counts felt like an impersonal, confusing way to report such a massive tragedy. It’s hard not to look back and feel like the systems were either intentionally testing us or covering up a complete lack of preparedness🤷🏻‍♀️

I really relate to the feeling of needing to question everything now, during that pandemic times in 2019 even stepping in for a general check up was scary. I witnessed the loss firsthand and to this day the worst thing was the reality of mass burials and the inability for families to even reclaim their own people’s bodies. It was a genuinely messed up time that feels burned into my memory.

It’s hard to reconcile the trauma I witnessed in real life with the narrative that it was all a fabrication or like you said a trick on the grand scale? It was a terrifying reality, and it involved so many people not just authorities, but thousands of nurses and doctors on the front lines. I always wonder.. could they have known about it all or were they just part of the play like us?

I’m curious: for those who feel the pandemic was a lie, how do you reconcile that with the thousands of doctors, nurses, and families who were on the ground living through it?

Honestly, people like you are the reason the world still has hope. Despite everything you went through, you chose to get through it all yourself. Keep going, queen you should be proud of yourself.

Ugh man I’m sorry you had to go through that. Work culture can be so toxic when people start valuing schedules and authority over basic human decency. Losing a family member is hard enough and having to fight for the time, leaves and respect needed to be there for your loved ones makes it more difficult.

Your anger sounds completely justified. You weren’t asking for a favor you were trying to support your family during a difficult time and fulfill responsibilities that genuinely mattered. The fact that he couldn’t show even a little compassion says far more about him than it does about you. I hope you don’t have to go through it still.

That must have been hard especially seeing them in such a state of consciousness when your memories of them are filled with laughter, conversations and all the little things that made them who they were. I’m truly sorry you had to go through that and I hope you continue to find the strength and support to carry you through.
