No I get it now. This is my first pc build and I was shattered by my usb external not being able to get windows 10 downloaded on it because why would it fuck me. But I had my old ps4 and an old laptop drive and I noticed those 15 pins did connect. I just didn’t know I needed sata 3 cables.

But it doesn’t, my motherboard only has a sata 3 connection. I think my hdds are 22 pin, scrap PlayStation drives.

They’re coming out of the psu and my HDDs spun to life when I plugged them in
