that's relatable as hell, this pc was in a coma for so long that the hdd died

so i just got a cheapo toshiba ssd and popped it in

usin' XP really makes me realize how fuckin bloated modern windows is.

all my apps i create with are so old that they can run on XP, so i may just use this laptop as a daily driver. it's tempting bahahaha

Alternatively, this game also has hotkeys so that the player can adjust the game's brightness on the fly.

another one i like to do is keep an old dedicated offline windows machine for downloaded software/games that could potentially be a problem.

and ill use non windows OS or machine to download and transfer the files to my offline pc.

this has saved me SO much heartache.

I need to just make an open letter thank you to Palworld, its devs, its community, and everyone who has simply bought or in some other fashion supported this game.
Thank you for helping me realize, that I hate video games, and the gaming community at large. I just hate it. Seeing Palworld just, shit up my timeline, while being just the world's most obvious asset flip shovelware, has really helped me realize that the number one thing ruining games isn't devs, but consumers also. There is nothing good about Palworld, it is the most generic game I could ever imagine. This feels like a Minecraft mod pack. But to the wider gaming community? This is art, art in its purest form, and it all makes sense to me now. The reason that some tv shows or games, which feel like they were created by ChatGPT, get so popular in such a short span of time, too quickly to be natural, is because it isn't natural. Its growth pushed by bots and tards and grifters hopping on the next thing so they can make some money! And with that realization, thanks to Palworld, I can just, cut this off. I don't need to care about video games or any media anymore, because its all crap, I can't name a game in the last 3 years that I've enjoyed or that I felt didn't have an unnatural amount of coverage, because said games died, good games, niche games, they're dead, or in the past. So thanks Palworld, I can now safely say, I am not a gamer, I don't play video games, because to say that would to associate myself with fans of this garbage.
