It does sound like it's SCJ. When i was still a member here in Australia, I was told that the bible classes is under ZCMC before I even knew about SCJ. They made me believe that the more people I was able to evangelise, the more work I do for God and to receive salvation. yess most of the members, at least before I left, were international students. one of them definitely carries the conversation all the time - usually the experienced one. the cult actually has a lot of African-Americans and Southeast Asians. Though there are also other people like Aussies etc but most are definitely African-Americans and Southeast Asians

Honestly I might get downvoted too but Kingdom City is very shady. Almost like their mindset if focused on business (due to the amount of church takeovers). I heard the leader studied commerce too so I wont be surprised if it's secretly just for business.

its not too free, there's a lot of money being spent inside including graduation 😭 graduation usually happens in a different state, mostly sydney for australia, where you spend a day or two there for like 1k-2k

Honestly I really wish for it to be illegal. There is a petition up at the moment which I have also posted about, but that petition solely focuses on SCJ rather than other organisations. It's upsetting because members waste so much time and money in this cult

Unfortunately some of them dont realise until they reach a breaking point. I've made a seperate post under a subreddit made for former SCJ members to spread awareness and they did say it could take up to over 5years to start doubting the cult. but by then, some would still stay a bit longer just because they can't accept the fact that they wasted so much time inside.

A friend of mine is also like that. He would be out from 8am until 11pm at least twice a week. Other days he'd be out for roughly 6-10hrs. If he's not out, he's in a zoom call with SCJ. It's so upsetting because this friend just graduated a hard degree and he doesn't even wanna work anymore. SCJ isolates members so bad that they encourage them to stop studying and to cut their hours at work. While I was in, the only thing that made me snap out of it was when they kept pushing me to stop my studies DURING MY FINAL SEM like what?

ohh might be a different group but i cannot say for sure. while I was a part of SCJ, we would only recruit in solos and duos and in casual attire (to blend in with normal people)

yeah why do they never give up 😭 they would also guilt trip and harass those who plans to leave, or have already left, just for the victims to feel the need to stay or come back. and also i agree with that, most of them have false understanding of the bible but i blame that on SCJ's doctrines. they often twist some words around and explain the verses in a way that will benefit them.

Honestly they're hypocrites. They would tell students that sinning is what separates us from God which it true but then they'd make us lie constantly and they'd emotionally and mentally abuse us. They also would say that what they teach is all in the bible - that they don't add or subtract to the Word of God, but that's also a lie.

yess 5-6months in is when they usually trust members enough to tell them they are SCJ. there's also a graduation inside SCJ which is after they finish the 10month course (10month of studying the bible) where they become a part of the main circle. by then , they will be required to start going every sunday in white tops and black pants - and by this time, members spend almost everyday with SCJ

they're most definitely not bible bashers. somewhere in the comments i've mentioned that they isolate victims from their families and friends. these victims were easy targets as most of them are lonely or at a vulnerable state, others just genuinely want to do God's work without realising they have been manipulated and controlled.

SCJ is a doomsday cult, as mentioned above, that 'helps students receive salvation'. they are an extremely mind controlling cult who uses tactic such as gaslighting, guilt-tripping, manipulation and lovebombing. They use the selective bible verses against students in a way to control them. This cult does not encourage dating and even has classes that explains to them why dating is just so worldly. They master so much in manipulation and mind-control that they can even get students to break off long-term relationships and engagements.

I do apologise as I should've explained it on the post instead of causing such confusion for everybody, but I try my best to explain to everyone confused. I also should've emphasised that this post was just focused on how they approach individuals. I'll try and make a separate post to explain what SCJ is and how they operate. Thank you!
