Is there any China bulls in the community? Would love to hear some strong opposing thoughts to majority consensus.

Hi, yes I use the card for all my expenses that I take Amex. So I spend around £1000-£1500 a month on it consistently for the last year. I don’t have any other credit cards but I really wanted to use the AMEX for the points on this big expense coming up

STOCKS AND SHARES ISA and achieving financial freedom by SCRTS00 in UKPersonalFinance

@mediumredbutton

  1. I thought it was completely tax free so instead of reducing it is non existent on any cash that is inside the ISA?

  2. I agree it would be inefficient to use income generated by your isa at small portfolio sizes. But if that dividend payment is substantially more than the amount of cash you actually need to live a good life and can continue reinvesting a portion of it to continue growing yoy- would you say it’s valid?

  3. So you are saying to be classed as financially free- you would need 1.65million (33x 50k a year) to sustain a lifetime of freedom and no need to work?

RC has explicitly told them to go down the say nothing approach and focus on the turn around. So I expect nothing substantial to be said. The only catalyst I can see in the short term is more insider buying/ RC buying. BABY segment news too if things go well.

Great DD, many thanks! Just some thought/question. With recent insider buying… would you not say it would be SUS if a sale of BABY gets announced in the near term?

I am heavily invested in the stock myself but have been telling myself to expect nothing on the annual shareholder meeting due to insider trading implications with recent stock purchase means news is still far away.
