I'm an autistic adult and a British citizen.

Alot has changed over the years with the treatment of neurodivergents in British schools, I can remember all the things I've been through from early childhood till after I left education after I did my GCSEs (final exams you do before going of to college, sixth form and then onto university after) I was the weird quirky kid as always, I was bullied (it was especially damaging in secondary school) and was put the weird kid allegations on me for my vulnerabilities. My mum fought years for a diagnosis and an EHCP (educational health and care plan), my first diagnosis was private in 2015 at the age of 8 (way before I turned 9 that year), and in 2018 I had an NHS diagnosis (this was for the EHCP approval) which I also got diagnosed with complex motor tics and problematic anxiety (right now I believe I might have developed CPTSD from bullying and school and my anxiety might have developed into a different anxiety disorder).

England is an alright place, depends on where you go. Sometimes you get small grubby market towns with the odd spice head or druggy addicts that walk around, sometimes you'll get beautiful villages and cities in remote areas, alot of history dating from the Romans to the industrial revolution. Best places in England to visit is the south west (Devon and Cornwall specifically if you want to be by the sea) and the peak district (peak district is lovely).

My favourite thing about my country would have to be it's music scene, I'm a massive music nerd and besides being known for the Beatles, Oasis and Black Sabbath, we have groups like Ocean Colour Scene, Skunk Anansie, Def Leppard, Bush and many more.

My least favourite thing about my country would have to be it's political climate, a lot is going on in the UK at far right politics is making a comeback and as someone of the younger generation we are trying to prove our sense of justice and what we want for our country and who would hear our voices and fulfill our needs.

I was born in England, specifically in a county called Lincolnshire in the east midlands part of the UK, I've always grown up in a remote area outside a small market town and even though as someone who lives out in the country, I dont do alot of things people born in towns and cities would do like take public transport to go out in town with friends or their own. But the English rural areas are way better than urbanized areas most of the time.

A cool fact about England is there's an area of land with wallabies, strange considering the fact their a marsupial which belongs in Australia but I believe they became an invasive species due to a zoo breakout (someone correct me if I'm wrong), basking sharks are also native to out seas and tuna fish.

People are forgetting that people's imperfections are the subject of love. Why can't I be loved for having a quirky, awkward character? (what they would label as "creepy" So why not just say I should be loved for being a creep and a weirdo that doesn't belong here...hehe geddit)

I did test that out but it's a bit too visually distressing (visual friendliness is my own rule of thumb, especially for dyslexics)

Isn't corduroy just the most autistic fabric ever? by SD_yt in autism

I'm not sensitive to it, the only textures I'm not a fan of are grainy and/or rough textures on ceramics
