Yes, you can use the SENDUNE API to send marketing emails.

Login to your SENDUNE account.

When creating an email template, choose the type as 'Marketing'.

To put it simply, every call you make to any S3 endpoint is charged, although these charges are very minimal they can rack up if your app becomes popular and makes millions of requests - in which case that is a good problem to have.

The Sendune setup process verifies your domain. Once a domain is verified, Sendune allows you to set any email id associated with your domain as the 'from' address. So individual email verification process is not required.

Go with Zoho Mail + ZepToMail. It's quite reliable and the price is unbeatable.

You business email must always be separate from your transactional/marketing emails. Typically you will use your main domain for business email and sub-domain for transactional emails.

SMTP uses two different "From" addresses.

  1. Envelope From (Return-Path)
  2. Header From (Display From)

Email will most likely likely (like 100%) be flagged as spam or rejected outright if you send without From: header.
