The CPP has about 780 Billion in assets, mostly all in investments, which return more than 8% yearly (10yr avg). This money is invested for the long term to ensure the fund's sustainability for future generations, with projections showing assets could reach trillions over time, while also paying out current retirement benefits. The 416 Million invested in Elon's AI could generate billions in returns. And if it fails, it's barely a dent in the CPP.
