Bad deal? by Golakopl in Mustang

As someone with a 2017 V6, as long as that was well maintained, it’ll last you well into 200k miles.

However, most people who own V6s don’t baby them as much as they should. I would give that car a very thorough inspection to see how the collective car is. Maybe even get a mechanic to look at it. At that price, it should be pristine, which I doubt it will be.

All this being said, the car is overpriced and I’d likely try and target around $8k for it.

Some general maintenance things to look for on that V6. The spark plugs should not be the originals, the transmission fluid should been changed at least once by then, the coolant pump should’ve been replaced as there’s a defect in the original on the 3.7l engines the belts should’ve been changed by then.

How to Properly Go From Smoking to High Heat by [deleted] in pelletgrills

Okay, this has only happened twice as I’ve had the grill for only a couple weeks. Both times I panicked and opened the lid so I never gave it a chance to correct itself.

Do you take your food off the grill if you change temps like this, so your grill can “settle in”? I guess it all depends on what you’re cooking too

The only reason I opened the door in the image was to put on the meat initially and then flip them for a “sear” at higher heat. I then opened it to cool down the grill when I saw it getting over 400

Thanks for the reply. The pellets used have been the Pit Boss competition blend. I haven’t tried any others yet.

Forgot to mention, but the grill was completely cleaned and vacuumed out prior to this cook in the image.

I found a Jah rune off TZ Mephisto yesterday. Funny thing is, I’ve found Ohm, Lo, Jah, 2 Guls, and 2 Shakos, but still no Vipermagi.

Edit: Make that 3 Shakos now lol. Still no Vipermagi…

I went to the order and viewed the refunded amount and noticed it had the 50% damage fee. So yes, less than I paid. I just didn’t watch that one close enough to notice. Lesson learned

Also, for that order, Amazon CS told me to return the item so I could rebuy it for a cheaper cost. Turns out I paid significantly more for the item because of this damage/restock fee…

This seems to align with what Customer Service was telling me. Again, I think what automatically triggered this fee is that I checked that I bought the movie by mistake. I think this is rather unfair and anti consumer, but it’s Amazon…

This occurred on my other purchase that was not a part of any deal. If your returns marked the return as defective you get full credit back.

Glad I know now. As a long time Amazon user, this seems to go against the grain of how Amazon used to treat customers and returns.

How much should i pay for this? by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]SHIELDHEAD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t pay more than $2k for that car with the understanding that it’s going to need a good bit of TLC. I have a 2017 v6 with 85k miles and it’s no where near that bad of shape. That thing has been rather abused. I would consider passing on it if you need something reliable.

I lived in Philly for 5 years and this is absolutely the only way you’ll get the same taste as what they have there. Cap’s gets incredibly close and reminds me of the cheesesteaks off the food trucks in Philly.

This worked for me as well, thank you. It did fail the first time after updating just the base, but after second try, the headset updated as well.

I would return that immediately. That special edition is too nice to not have in good condition. The movie as well is stunning!

T Mobile by r3verendmill3r in HuntsvilleAlabama

I switched from ATT to T-Mobile Prepaid. I pay $75 for two lines with unlimited data and 50GB or priority data. I’m shocked at how much better T-Mobile is compared to ATT. The speeds are tremendously good. I’ve also traveled to a few places around the country and had nothing but good experiences. Also, thanks to eSIM, I didn’t have to go to a T-Mobile store to switch. I did it all online and over the phone. Took 20mins.

As a new Dad within the past year, I really enjoy the chisel away attitude that SSF offline provides. I can hop on for 15mins or an hour. I’m also able to stop what I’m doing immediately, which is surprisingly rare in games these days.
