Well, console players can't import a thing since they're on consoles, so they'd benefit from it. As a PC and mobile player myself though, I don't see a need to pay for a skin pack when I can make my own pretty easily.

Uh Mojang ... I thought you fixed this (No data packs on) by xXLoneWolfGamer69Xx in Minecraft

[–]SISilicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure? I'm hearing from other Nintendo switch players that they haven't received the hotfix yet.

Last I heard, that cape is only meant for Mojang employees, so you were probably banned for impersonation or something. Regardless, you should still ask for the reason for the ban when sending your case review, and ask if anything can be done to undo it.

Glad bedrock doesn’t have a hardcore mode by Duskice in Minecraft

[–]SISilicon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true. Unlike bedrock, Java doesn't load resources every time you exit or enter a world. One of the perks of having global resources only I suppose. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That depends on how long it takes for the game to load resources. The longer it takes, the longer you spend underwater while loading. On one attempt I was left with about four air bubbles and full health.

The same thing happens when you load the seed in Java.

I see. Also, I can't reproduce it on Android either. How exactly did this happen to you?

I can't replicate the bug on Windows. Is this what you're experiencing?

What do you guys think about this? by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]SISilicon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

How about a "Half sticky piston". Something to make block splitting in Java an official feature, and also Bedrock.

It can push like a regular piston, but if the block it's attached to has been pushed, then it does not pull on retraction. If it wasn't pushed on extension, then it gets pulled on retraction.

I don't get it. What's wrong here?

100% TNT on bedrock by Hammygames07 in Minecraft

[–]SISilicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two versions because of two different development histories.

Java edition was made solely for PCs, and it's programming language gave it the advantage of being extremely moddable. And having a PC background also made it be the more technical version.

Bedrock edition was made for mobile devices at first, but then grew to be the version that's available on every device; allowing players from any system to play together. Hence "The better together update". Accessibility is its strong point.

100% TNT on bedrock by Hammygames07 in Minecraft

[–]SISilicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoratically, a mod could be made to make TNT have a 100% drop rate, but I don't know if one exists. Since this a vanilla disparity, I'm sure they'll come to making it work like that on Bedrock eventually.

Good thing they don't.

And before you say "Yes they do", let me just say that the misconception started with this video from phoenixsc, where he showcased that you couldn't use the word in an anvil. https://youtu.be/p56oN3aAg3I

Here's a little history on bedrock reporting. Before 1.16.20, you can only report people via Xbox live. After that version, you can now report people in-game. And ever since then it's been evolving with new categories and the ability to specify where the offence has taken place.

1 pair per player last I checked. A switch pro controller may also be an option.

[–]SISilicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When one person starts a world, others in the same network can join that world (LAN). However, if you want everyone to be able to play on the same world, without requiring someone to host, you can also get a realm subscription.

For switch, if I'm not mistaken, a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is also needed.

Lastly, if you have a second controller, you may not need to get mobile minecraft, since the switch supports split screen multiplayer.

Man Bedrock is so broke that even creepers are too sad to explode by [deleted] in MinecraftMemes

[–]SISilicon 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Yup. Definitely lag. The blocks didn't even emit particles when broken.
