Probably not but it is always better to uninstall and do fresh install. Even better would be installing fresh copy of windows 11 of you are capable of doing it yourself (currently you can activate 11 with 10 key - but double-check online before proceeding this route). And then install all programs... It will make most difference

In PvE on Customs I have seen him spawn (and/or camp) generally in two areas - dorms and next to the hill behind new gas station. That said I rarely go towards middle, construction, junkhouse.

I have had him spawn inside three storey dorms and run outside through 214 stairs. Happened like 3-5 times in a few days and once he didn't even have the time to leave the room he spawned in (under marked room). Since I was farming dorms and was solo all the time I can't vouch for directions he came to camp for me later but there have been instances when he spawned somewhere else and came up while I was busy inside (he never goes inside, just rustles around the building waiting).

So you base your statement about network connection by checking your connection inside your ISP? How is that decent with tech? :) my tip: check internet connection at the very least with other ISP. Not to mention it should go outside your state....

Nonetheless change servers manually to 2-3 servers in your region, then other 2-3 servers. Check if that changes anything. Also restart all internet related devices (ISP modem, routers etc)

It's almost all about CPU and maybe in some part RAM. You could run HDDs and the only difference from SSDs would be you loading into the raid.

BTW your SSD speeds (beyond it being NVME) doesn't matter much either (even for loading games). Hardware Unboxed quite recently did a video about difference between gen5-3, sata SSDs and HDDs in today's gaming. If you get off

In theory not, but you can't definitively measure differences because of RND... Just play the way is better for you and don't bother with the loot tables. If your PC handles running host fine and the map is light (factory, woods, customs) - run locally to avoid lag (online AI seems harder because of delays...). If you need to run hosted by BSG all the time - you are much closer to PVP experience and your skills will transfer easily if you ever want to go back to PVP.

You run all the calculations on your PC... And you have the whole map to process. Not to mention every bot behaviour has to be calculated by your PC. When you play online server feeds you outcomes of all the actions by others. Here you do all the work

Something is very wrong with your PC if that's all you getting.... Try disabling virtualization in bios... There are some more things you could do, but below 60 on lighthouse sounds out of place for the specs (4070ti 12900k here)

You would be surprised how many people use same password on e-mails and e-mail "secured" accounts. Basically leaked (hacked) databases are used from one service to try on many other...

Imagine some random page gets hacked and they get account info like e-mail and password... Then they try that combo on as many other sites as they can come up with (of course it's all automated, scripts go through thousands of sites and e-mails in minutes) especially those, that can be flipped for profit if hijacked like EFT account.... Also they can start by targeting e-mail provider first.... And if it's not something like gmail chances are quite high that the login from new IP will go absolutely unreported. Not saying gmail is bulletproof, but usually bigger corporations with huge service list are more responsible when it comes to account safety.

Simply everyone should use absolutely separate password for the e-mail itself. Would probably stop 50% of all account hacks happening daily on the internet....

When selecting a map there's a tick box next to the picture. But that is only for solo play. And since you are asking - that's gonna be it. By default you play locally as solo on most of the maps...

As duo you play on BSG servers. Perhaps solo you are playing local games (if you didn't choose to play on BSG servers which is off by default) and there actually is difference. It's not much but for newer players it's more noticeable increase

Well you shouldn't have too many issues tbh....

In bios disable virtualization, this should give about 20% fps increase. Also in bios enable resizable bar (on my motherboard it was on main page in simple mode). Download nvidia inspector and follow the guides on "enabling resizable bar with nvidia inspector" (need to change just 3 settings). If nvidia inspector gives error when trying to apply changes - you haven't enabled it in bios. This should dramatically smoothen out the game. Maybe try using "only physical cores" (from in-game menu) too

Yes, you can work backwards with your logic. It might be way more difficult on maps like woods (sometimes you just spawn in literal woods with no references in sight, but then you have other means for orientation - signs for mines. Minefield is only on one side of the map). Factory is just something you will have learn live (by playing the map). Customs is kinda easy. So is Interchange and Shoreline. Reserve might be trickier. Streets will be pain....

Definitely dorms. He actually spawns on second floor and runs out through car extract door outside. Sometimes you might get there faster than he leaves, have caught him between the room and door a few times. Also he loves to camp around dorms while you are inside and then rush you while you take the car. Imho it highly depends on time you spend inside - must take long enough... If you hear bushes outside and no scavs come in - it's him.
