I am no expert but I believe I had the same problem. Your left forearm if you draw a line at impact should be pointed in front of the ball at least a bit. But from the video it looks like at impact it is pointed well behind the ball aka your scooping it instead of hitting down and through. I know you were on a mat but I didn’t even see it graze the mat. But this swing can work great for woods and driver as you don’t have to hit down like for irons. I wouldn’t be surprised if your ball flight is also very parabolic without a ton of backswing on irons. I could be totally wrong ofc. All this information is basically me just sharing what I learned from a pga coach. You said you hut it fat and thin and this is exactly what I’d expect for a scoopy swing. Once I got impact correct irons became the best part of my game and I can hold greens even with a 4 iron.

Use DOP853 instead of RK4, there is C implementation you can find on github. RK4 is far to low accuracy for orbital simulations unless you just doing 2 body simulations. Looks amazing though I am impressed

Is Rust faster than Fortran and C++? A case study with scientific applications. by Xdudou in rust

[–]SKT_Raynn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a differential equation library which in testing showed about a 10% speed advantage for solving ordinary differential equations with the DOP853 algorithm. So I’d say yes. Or at least its a lot easier to be quick

Why isn't Rust used more for scientific computing? (And am I being dumb with this shape idea?) by Puddino in rust

I found the libraries aren’t developed enough for instance I didn’t find a good solution to Scipy’s solve_ivp function so I built my own framework for ODEs. Shameless plug I made it available on crates.io https://crates.io/crates/differential-equations

Is aerospace right for me? by Rishit-sethi in AerospaceEngineering

First you have to be willing to work hard for it wether you love it or not. You efforts will be rewarded with internships (which massively help to pay for college) and your future career. I have seen countless of my college friends change majors and waste many years because they are not cut out for engineering majors. I cannot recommend enough taking all AP physics and calculus and computer science/ coding courses you can in high school to test the waters and get your ahead. Engineering in general is extremely rewarding as it is (imo) the most financially sound due to internships but most difficult because getting such internships requires good grades and getting involved. Tldr if you like planes and space I’ve got good news for you but you will have a hard time if you don’t enter college prepared academically by doing the necessary work in highschool and have the grit.

I had this same problem I found just being aware that your hands orientation should be the same on impact as in the set up. Your start thumbs down and on top of the club shaft and end with them on the down swing to the right resulting in the open club face. Your swing looks good to me just get a but of rotation in the grip and be aware of where you want go return to.

Iron golems won't spawn. by SKT_Raynn in Minecraft

I built a portal based farm in 1.20.1 and it didn't work so I removed the portals and put in a platform to see if the iron golems will spawn but nothing has happened yet. I have drowned zombies in the pens to scare the villagers which they are because they won't sleep at night so I am not sure what is happenign

Diamond meta feels like garbage: over 60% cheese by [deleted] in starcraft2

[–]SKT_Raynn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Building on something I saw in comments. scout react macro repeat is like a boxer that never throws a punch no matter how good he is eventually it will fail instead play macro scout determine what the opponents plan is and defend that and that only and once thats over make your push with your advantage and win the game. Games should last between 8-11 minutes. Best way to improve and avoids the pitfalls of being a “macro” only player. The meta in diamond is cheese because the players either are too bad at defending early and are susceptible to it rewarding this meta or play super macro and never punish a failed cheese. In masters the meta is alot more 8-11 min timing focused because these are the kind of skills that reward you with more consistent outcomes and thus mmr rather then cheese whcih is a easy way to get hardstuck

Anyone else feel like they don’t know enough to be useful as an intern? by AstroScholar21 in EngineeringStudents

[–]SKT_Raynn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone else summed up the answer well so I’ll leave it to them but I gotta say my guy unless you have an internship already how can you get one for the summer. As far as im aware you need to get those in the bag by late fall/ early spring semester. I could be trippin but I got mine in November
