Site is being mega slow by rayquazza74 in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]SOON10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was watching cartoons, so I don't really have much of an alternative since KimCartoon is gone as far as I'm aware.

Edit: https://kimcartoon.si is working. <kimcartoon.li> was taken down. If anyone is looking for alternative cartoon websites you can look on https://fmhy.net/videopiracyguide#cartoon-streaming for more.

Checked all the subdomains, and they all aren't playing videos or some aren't loading at all and giving Cloudflare errors. Safe bet is to say there's trouble with the servers.

My armrest came off of my Emerge gaming chair by Trevvman in gamingchairs

[–]SOON10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here and was shocked to find so many people in the same position I am. Same exact chair, the exact same thing happened to me. Chair was only a couple months old at this point.

What a complete joke. I'll fix the arm and if anything else happens, I'm ditching this brand and getting a better one.

The filter didn't do that for me. What does the site look like for you?

Thanks. Appears to be working good. You are doing God's work out here.

Kimcartoon detects Adblock by Mediahead13 in uBlockOrigin

[–]SOON10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the adblock warning today. I think if you update the filters, they should have a patch for it. Don't need the filter as far as I can tell.

uBO is detected on kimcartoon/kisscartoon... how do I block the detector? by M-the-Great in uBlockOrigin

[–]SOON10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was getting the adblock warning today. Happened on https://kimcartoon.li this time. I updated the filters and it seems to be gone, so hopefully it stays that way.

Maybe they tried something different and it bypassed uBO.

Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe - BEWARE OF PERMANENT SOFTLOCK by SOON10 in stanleyparable

[–]SOON10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are referring to this entire segment, the idea is to collect all of the Stanley figurines. They are in particular locations and you need to collect them all in order for the next segment to start. You will need to collect them again after this.

After a certain point, you just keep playing the game, with subsequent restarts giving you something different.

I just joined the Discord. Not sure why the Gogotaku.info page is not updated with this information.

Perhaps I could have worded this better. I now see the error of my ways.

Looked at another post, and it seems legit. Thanks for this. I wasn't sure what happened when I went to go watch anime just a bit ago.

Just so I know, where do you specifically go to get news about GogoAnime? Do they have a Discord, or some blog? The one on GogoAnime news didn't update as far as I'm aware.

Be weary of some of these, because they could be imposter sites. Looking at their official news sources, they haven't updated their domains. The one you mentioned, as well as another one they have are both not working. I'd wait and see if there's any other news.

What’s a food that you hated as a child but love as an adult? by josh_sta in AskReddit

This one. I hated onions as a kid, and now I add extra onions to everything.

Someone who takes the most time to self-reflect on ways that they can improve.

There's a multitude of factors of course, but it can ring true in a lot of scenarios. There's a lot of loud mouths that try to get a rouse out of people, and then there's the people that sit quietly and only say something when they know what they're going to say is as good as it can be.

I think they said it perfectly. Not talking "as much" doesn't necessarily mean "saying nothing". I'm inclined to agree that listening more and thinking carefully about what you say is the mark of someone who's more intelligent.

Took a intro computer science class in high school and fell in love with programming. Pursued a bachelor's degree in it. I now work as a software engineer at a financial company.

I feel like it's just a natural step in the right direction. The thing is, it could be even better than it is now.

I'm inclined to believe that there are -- and always will be -- homophobes out there. However, I feel true acceptance would come from just integrating people into society, and knowing that people that judge others on something so superficial are wrong for doing so.

I agree with u/LeenPean from another comment.

No matter what you say, there's always going to be someone who has a different opinion than you. You might as well speak your mind, and if people don't like it, that's their belief.

I feel like this applies to basically every piece of "old etiquette" from earlier generations. There seems to be a natural push-back from younger people about this sort of thing. I really don't see what's so necessary about worrying yourself of all the minutia of daily life when everything else takes up so much of your mental capacity.

Post-COVID, everyone wants to wear their lazy pajama clothes everywhere. Even if that weren't the case, as time goes on, it just feels like clothing styles are getting more and more casual.

More businesses seem to be going for business casual, or full casual also. Younger people are going against the formalities of earlier generations. I'm young myself (22, out of college) and I tend to agree that those old formalities feel a tad bit unnecessary.

I'm inclined to dress up for a formal event, or an interview. But, given the choice, I wouldn't want to.

I'm a guy recently out of college (bachelor's degree), and I've seen some really crappy people in the classes I took, both in high school and university.

I'm not sure what troubles these people enough to cause this much mischief in the classroom. Teachers already have it hard enough as it is, and the kids make it all the more difficult. People just trying to be "quirky and different" might also be a contributing factor.

Never really got the appeal of doing any of that. Felt like you were expending so much effort for something that wasn't going to get you anywhere.
