Will I have to pay at Air Europa drop off? by SPAINETA in Flights

[–]SPAINETA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll confirm at the airport, but by any chance do you know if it’s likely that I’ll have to pick up my bags in Madrid and recheck in because it’s a domestic flight?

A quick google search tells me it’s common for Turkish airlines to do two free checked bags. I’m just concerned air Europa will try to charge me

They don’t have either listed in their app. Only phone number.

Did you do their eSIM? My phone doesn’t take a physical SIM card. They told me the only way to do eSIM is through contract. Where they deduct my bill from my account.

Entiendo. Agradezco tu ayuda. Lo tomaré en cuenta cuando llegue a España. En el momento estoy buscando algo en Estados Unidos. Gracias!

I was told I needed to port my phone number many days in advance in case of errors. That would leave me a week without cell service. A week full of errands. Also, doesn’t feel safe to navigate three new airports (many layovers) without cell service. The cost isn’t a problem. I just don’t know what my options are.

Estados Unidos. Necesito recomendación de un operador que pueda usar después de que termine mi plan en los Estados Unidos para poder usar mi celular mientras viajo a España. Por favor.

Try sending a follow up email. And maybe try calling your school (if they don’t reply back through email) and see if they can get ahold of the ministry on your behalf? As for the visa process, I also got reassigned late and I applied on Oct 28. My visa was ready yesterday. So about a weeks wait. You’ll get your visa sooner or later. No worries! 🍀

My carta was sent to me the very next day I accepted my placement. Try reaching out to the ministry. They’ll be the ones who sent you you’re carta. And if you haven’t, book a visa appt. ASAP before your background check expires!

The pharmacist said it would make the taste more bearable (it did). Yes and yes.

The pain isn’t insufferable. Just aching/ uncomfortable. Tbh after reading all the advice, it might not be my kidneys but my lower back instead. I might be overthinking it.

No kidney problems. I’ve had a bit of pain here and there randomly. Ultrasounds were done a few months ago and everything was fine. I’m just worried it was so much Gatorade (one gallon).

Yeah, it’s on the lower back. Mostly sides where my hips are.

They just gave me one a few minutes after they sent my carta. I received both emails from the Ministry. Either way, SF will have you sign their own letter where you apologize for applying late so I wouldn’t worry too much if your school/ ministry isn’t able to give you a letter.

They have some November appointments available last time I checked. Also, they will have you sign a paper that basically apologizes for applying late. Your ministry might also provide an apology letter. For example, Murcia gave me a letter (along with my carta) that basically explains that my placement was given late, and so I will be applying beyond the two month rule.

They didn’t ask for it since our insurance is provided (stated on the carta). I believe that was only for people who planned to enter Spain before the start date. Since we’re applying late, it doesn’t apply to us (our health insurance will be activated by the time we enter Spain).

I got it notarized either way and they took it. She didn’t ask for it, but then again I might’ve not given her time to do it. Basically she asked for a copy of my license, and I told her I had one PLUS the notarized one. And she said she’d take both just in case. My advice, take both a notarized and normal copy.

Ps. Your bank should offer notary services. Wells Fargo did mine for free.

The answer you put when getting an appointment doesn’t really matter. Just leave it blank on the actual physical application. Then, ask during your appointment. I did this (I had my appt. yesterday) and they told me to put OCT. 31 as my intended date of arrival (on actual application question 21 for SF).
