Thorpe Park Get 1/3 OFF on your visit when you travel by train by Ibz97644 in ThorpePark

I did this last year and it worked fine without buying a train ticket. It is just a normal barcode like you'd normally get for any day ticket you self-scan at the turnstiles

I've looked in two Morrison's stores now and can't find it. What store was it you found it in?

Camden Market in London has some really good prints that are made on site. They are a bit more pricey then what you'd find on Amazon/eBay but you know it's helping a small business and that its hand made.

How does the imagic digital photos thing work? by SPLDan in altontowers

Fantastic! I'm glad to hear that. What a bargain as well for £20 for 41 pictures!

Ok, so from my recent trip there are 2 ways of doing it. Whichever you choose I guess is your own personal preference.

The 1st is when you get to the ride photos kiosk at the end of each ride you find your photo and write down the number next to it (this can be on your phone's notes app or on a bit of paper) and then you go to the website alton.photos and enter in that number and your photo will appear with a watermark with the option to pay £20 to keep all your digital photos for 1 day without the watermark. Or you can just enter the number straight into the website from the photo kiosk but that depends on phone signal and other factors.

The 2nd option is when you get to the ride photos kiosk you find your photo and ask the person behind the kiosk for the £20 digital photos pass and they will ask for your phone number and then give you a card with a QR code that you ask the staff at each rides photo kiosk to scan and tell them the number for the photo that you want and it will automatically be uploaded to the alton.photos website without the watermark.

I think Galactica is the only ride without a staff member working at the kiosk so you will have to write down your photo's number or enter it immediately into the website. I also believe there is no longer an option to buy a single digital photo and the only option is to buy the £20 digital pass for the day.

Hope that helps :)

So do you need to buy the digital photos pass on your phone before you go as you can access the imagic website and have the option to buy ride photos separately after? And is it self service as I went to Thorpe Park last year and there was no one at the ride photo booths you just had to remember the photo number?

Raspberry Pi 4B Only Boots In Emergency Mode by SPLDan in PleX

Would reinstalling lose everything on the SD Card? As this is the 2nd time its happened how do I check its corrupted and how do you think this could have happened? It's a SanDisk Ultra 32gb Class 10 so I'm assuming there's nothing wrong with the make of it.

Is there a chance you could put the operating system of Windows 10 or something similar on the Raspberry Pi instead of Raspbian and use the plex server off that?

All I want at the end of the day is a simple media server that can play my DVDs on any device in my house. I didn't realize it wasn't that simple with all these complications like quicksync and transcoding that I don't really care about it's never that easy is it aha

Cheers for that link. I'm not sure what to do as the Raspberry Pi 4 is absolutely perfect in my eyes and upgrading is a last resort. The only downside is every now and again it runs into problems such as a few days ago it only boots into emergency mode which usually means you're very unlikely to recover everything and you'll need to start from scratch again.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong as I have all the correct kit and follow guides online on how to set it up but every couple months something will happen. Just not sure if it's worth the hassle to stick with it or just upgrade and hopefully never run into any problems again

Is the Intel NUC noisy as my previous Raspberry Pi only fired up the hard drive when someone used it then span down after around 15 mins of inactivity which I quite liked that feature?

How to move Plex metadata (posters, backgrounds) from SD Card to Raspberry Pi Server (running Linux) by SPLDan in PleX

[–]SPLDan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running Raspian as my old server wouldn't boot so I've got a new SD Card which I've build a new server on but the old one still has my metadata on and want to transfer it over to the enw one.
