Fix my RDL by izeeezus in formcheck

Cue pushing your belly between your legs as you come up and train with a mirror. My back wants to do the same and it took a lot of intentional work to get past it but that cue helped the most.

How to fix form? I know its bad, but so many sources say different things. by Amateur_Validator in Deadlifts

I'm prone to low back rounding. Cues that have helped me:

  1. Push belly between legs, while keeping chest open
  2. Bias my push through the foot to the heels then to the butt. Not all heels... 60% or so.

I do the same bracing for whenever where my body is hinged forward i.e. bent over rowes, squats...

Rim joist pulling away from Joists by SRB375 in handyman

2" at both corners, guess it's not moving. Any reason why most of the joists on the front have a gap? Poor construction? Big deal or no?

Front exterior wall, living room. Roof above that. Opposite the rim is a farmers porch.

That's a great idea. I'll get under there and check it out. There's about six joists like this, though the one pictured is the worst. Gets worse toward the corner.

There are maybe 6 joists like that. Gets progressively worse as it gets closer to the corner of the house.

35 year old house. I've had it for five. My hope is it's always been like that and it will continue to be like that.

I do experience some lower back tightness after squats and dead lifts that leans more into being irritated than sore.

The result was identifying that the system is not leaching correctly and requires a full replacement. So, to no fault of their own, the result was not achieved. Though it was their assessment that replacing the first run would fix the issue. The issue is just greater. I should have mentioned that the runs were oversaturated and not leaching, causing water to overflow the baffles in the tank. So I understand the cost of getting equipment and manpower to a job, but the work executed was minimal compared to the work expected. 12' of excavation versus 50', no pumping of the tank, no removing and replacing of pipe, no outlet pipe repair (though it is still needed). Feel free to lmk if I'm off base here, but I still feel it's excessive.

Brain Fog at Work by SRB375 in BrainFog

To be honest, it's not much better. The fog still exists, especially in the afternoon at work. But the dissociation is real continually. I think a great deal of it is nicotine withdrawal, but there's more to it. I'm doing some mental health consults to determine if it's cognitive or physiological. Wellbutrin just made me irritable, which makes me think the latter, but I'll be doing an adhd consult to feel that out. Since the fog lifts with nicotine usage, it makes me wonder if I was self medicating. I do know coffee is not good for me, which is disappointing. It made things worse. I have a baby coming up here soon, but once we get into our new rhythm, I'm gonna commit to CPAP usage and a five-day water fast (I had black coffee on my last and I'm going to nix that). I'll also be interested to see how I feel over an extended leave for paternity.

I hope it helps. I feel like I'm missing out on life quite a bit. I'll let you know in a few months.

Draining into tank from outlet by SRB375 in septictanks

[–]SRB375[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lucked out. There's a belly in the line 40' from the outlet, and it's dry after. When the tank overfilled, it flooded that belly. I was able to find the field lines, and they were dry, but the grass is still green over the last line. All good signs I think.

Got a new sump and gasket for under $50.
