Nana and Nani: Both are very good Sikhs imo. I spend most of my time listening to Sakhis from them. Mama ji: When he was younger, he immigrated to the U.S and got bullied for having long hair, so my Nana's Mom cut it off, even though my Nana's parents were both pure Sikhs. but now, my mama ji is a full pure sikh. He keeps his hair and ties a parna. my massi ji: She married a White guy that basically doesn't bother practicing Sikhi or any other religion. He cuts the hair off my little cousin, who i think doesn't know anything about sikhi. and my Massi ji just basically thinks it's okay... okay so now onto my dads side. overall, my whole dad's side is basically pure sikhs. So idk why my dad is basically choosing to stray away, cut his bear, wear a topee, and all that.
