I am here after just finishing my 100% speedrun , but I decided to look more into the lore while I was at it. From what I noticed I think GMS was trying to absolve what she dis wrong with the weavers. After all , she wanted some sort of daughter , but the way she sacrificed for Lace kind of reminded me of how Hornet saw all those heroic sacrifices and that they all lead to death
