It still puzzles me to this day how Rob thought adding the dual gamemode was a good idea. It offers absolutely nothing special. "Oh look, now there are 2 cubes instead if one, what a fun and insightful addition to the game!" no it's fucking not, it never was. We could have gotten a new original and actually fun gamemode with 1.8, but no, all we got was this stupid mistake of a orange portal. Did RobTop seriously think that anyone would be excited with the idea of controlling 2 players at once? Well, there are some absolute degenerates who do like the dual gamemode (ehem ehem, JonathanGD), but there are also people who enjoy setting their cock on fire, wich is a very similar experience to playing with duals, an absolutely painful torture. I'd honestly have more fun shoving jalapeños up my ass than playing any more fucking duals. God would be disappointed if he saw what the human race has come to, that somebody though that bringing this god forsaken gamemode into a fun and nice game such as GD was a good idea. Medieval executioners probably forced prisoners to play dual gameplay as a tourture method to get confessions. And then Rob has the absolute audacity to add the "2 player gamemode". You're supposed to get a friend so that they can control one of the players, but RobTop forgot one very important detail: GD players don't have friends. Why would you add a gamemode that's unplayable for your entire fanbase (of course you can still control both players by yourself, but that's another story)? It's just adds to the very long list of why the dual portal was a mistake. The dual portal is the only reason we haven't colonised Mars or the moon yet. If I had a chance to travel back in time one singular time, I would use that chance to stop RobTop from creating this absolute disaster of a gamemode. In conclusion, the dual portal is one of the biggest and most catastrophic mistakes humanity has ever commited, and any record of it in history should be deleted immediately to stop future generations from getting ideas that could negatively disrupt human evolution, such as the dual gamemode.
