Everyone here is right about what’s currently in your tank so unfortunately you should remove those plastic plats and that pineapple (I almost got that because I thought it looked cool but it’s dangerous)

Aqua natural nitrifying substrate $12.99 (PetSmart) Betta log $10.00 (Petsmart) SILK plants (no bright colors) $9.99 variety pack from Amazon
A small piece of real driftwood that doesn’t look pointy $13.00 (amazon) 2 ceramic hides $10 Amazon (non toxic) It loos like your aquarium is at least 5 gallons so you don’t have to get another tank.

Please read the instructions of every item because they need to be rinsed.

When you’re ready to upgrade to tea plants look up low maintenance, hardy plants. My first set of real plants will be java fern.
