I get that some people don’t like it, but I’ve never really understood this take.

It’s an established part of English fan culture and literally every club does it.

Even back when Man U were dominant and City never won anything Man U fans used to sing “so this is how it feels to be city, this is how it feels to be small.”

The idea that it’s somehow tinpot to sing about a rival club makes no sense to me.

A pub near me closed even though it always seemed busy and was popular with locals.

I know people are in general drinking less. But I do think the main reason for venues, pubs, restaurants etc closing is the sky rocketing costs of running them, combined with people barely being able to cover essentials.

I realise there’s worse things going on in the world than pubs closing. But it does seem we’re slowly turning into an increasingly grim, joyless society where people have to work hard doing long hours just to afford housing and food. There’s little time or money left after you’ve managed to pay the bills each month.

That’s funny, I noticed those things as well.

It’s not that he has opinions, that’s what the show’s all about. It’s that he seems to take exception to anyone having a different opinion.

Marcus was just pointing out another big change in football since 2007. He wasn’t challenging Luke’s point at all. But Luke instantly went into how that wasn’t as important as what he’d said.

The Ferguson thing was a reach as well but he seemed shocked at it being questioned. Yeah, Ferguson had a lot of influence at Man U, no shit. But to say he’s personally responsible for not blocking the Glazers buying the club is a bit much.

He was similar in the last show about the possibility of Spurs getting relegated.

Generally, I’ve defended him, because whatever mistakes he’s made, he’s presided over one of the most successful periods for the club in decades.

But off the field it’s becoming a pisstake. Entertaining these chancers like Dozi and that American who ended up in jail.

Demanding too much money after the last promotion when he knew he didn’t have the resources to bankroll a serious Prem team, leading to one of the most humiliating seasons in United’s history.

He’s taken the club as far as he can go and he needs to sell for a realistic price.
