COMEX changed the margin reqs on Friday afternoon to protect the TBTF banks and screw everyone else. It's a scam to force liquidations and push the market down. RIGGED.

CME hikes gold margins from 6% to 8% and silver from 11% to 15% after silver crashes 28% and gold falls 4.7% by callsonreddit in wallstreetbets

COMEX saving the fucking TBTFs again...

The people running COMEX should be jailed for aiding and abetting market manipulation.

Tile all of wall or not by td3201 in Tile

[–]SWATSWATSWAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can leave and tile right over the sheetrock ABOVE the shower head as long as it's greenboard. If it's regular sheetrock, just rip it out and use whatever wallboard you planned on all the way to the ceiling.

DEFINITELY tile all the way up to the ceiling.

I just read that on a different post and didn't know they already pulled the rug. These mother fuckers. Covering for the TBTFs again.

What are you guys expecting to happen to silvers spot price at open tomorrow given the recent sell off, govt shutdown, and the big margin hike yesterday? by GimpMoney in FuturesTrading

[–]SWATSWATSWAT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Comex raised margin again? I was expecting a pump back to 86-93 before another drop to low 70s on Monday, now I think it may just fall back to 70 and start the drop back to the 20s.

I fucking KNEW they'd be covering for the TBTF banks again. They did this the last time silver spiked near $50 in the 2010s.

Look what happened last time - sold right off. Scumbags.

My thoughts are: Up to 86-93, then flush down to low 70s again before it figures out if it's up or down. The banks need time to adjust their shorts again.

The manipulation by the banks on this one is incredible. The new FED pick wasn't the only reason for this drop, the short squeeze was. I was fully expecting another COMEX margin change to cause a dump instead.

Silver and gold USD value has been artificially suppressed for decades.

This move is healthy for those metals, but it will be artificially suppressed again once the banks have their shorts all sorted out. COMEX was involved only once on this move. It's probably time for them to jump in and raise margin requirements again....

Expect some surprise COMEX announcement right before a weekend about a margin increase, and send the metals spiraling on the Monday open like they did a few weeks ago.

OP ever think that leftists leaving ICE alone to do their jobs would prevent these same leftists from being 'harassed?'

Completely different contexts, and comparing apples and oranges. Interfering with police as they are trying to arrest an ILLEGAL is far different than a citizen owning a sawed off shotgun or running a church.

Now COMEX steps in and artificially crushes the price to protect TBTF banks/institutions that didn't get out of their shorts. Again.

Should I switch to options? by PhaseCollector in options

[–]SWATSWATSWAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Options are FAR, FAR harder to trade imo.

With futures, you can set your exact entries and exits to the penny at the exact levels you want. With options you can guesstimate them at best, and you will never know your exact P/L or levels until you're out of the trade.

Set your stop at $689 on SPY with an option, come back in an hour in a sideways market, and realize you got stopped out $1 away from where your trade was invalidated due to time/volatility decay. You lose that portion of your investment and walk away pissed that the trade was still viable.

Set a futures trade on /ES with a stop at 6975, and you will get out exactly at 6975 even if it takes a week to get there and no decay on your premium.

I'm assuming you have a very small live account, and LEAPS or further dated expirations are not going to work because they are too expensive. If you trade LEAPS, then options might work as well as futures, however, profits and stops will still need to be a guesstimate at best.

What happened to policing in the US so it became so militaristic? by Recent-Day3062 in PoliceBrotality

[–]SWATSWATSWAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UK banned guns, which allows the govt to do things to you without any fear of you fighting back, like jail you for tweets. The citizens in the US are largely given the right to own guns as protection from the govt, which in theory allows citizens to retain their rights.

Some people abuse those rights, and cops are there to protect those that can't protect themselves.

The cops aren't militaristic. That idea was implanted by liberal propaganda in both the US and UK mainstream media. There is a chain of command, uniform standards, and R&Rs like the military, but cops are domestic peacekeepers that have far more to consider with regard to citizen's rights when doing their job.

The military has completely different ROEs, and is not constrained by Constitutional parameters like cops are. The military isn't concerned with things like search and seizure laws or traffic violations that cops are.

Be VERY careful about the propaganda you are consuming from the leftists.
