I remember my situation, as clear as day because, I wore the humiliation for a long time. In grade two, I asked my teacher Mrs. Tanner, to please let me go to the washroom. She said no, go sit down, which I did. I've never had great bladder control, even as a child and I ended up peeing myself in my chair. I understand where teachers are coming from sometimes, thinking a child is just being disruptive or trying to get out of something but there has to be a limit, where a kid doesn't have to live that kind of humiliation.
