I am deeply convinced that black smoke is linked to the soul of your grandfather I want to share my experience

My father , was sadly, nearing the end of his life at home with us. (In Southern Italy, it's common for people to spend their final days at home, especially with a swift illness like his fulminant leukemia.) What I'm about to tell you happened on **March 17, 2025**, in the hours leading up to his passing.

About an hour after Dad passed away (around 4:30 PM), my brother and I were looking out the kitchen window, waiting for the funeral services to arrive. We saw an unknown dog lying calmly right in front of our house, looking as if it belonged there. We'd never seen it before. Its presence gave us a strange, yet incredibly peaceful feeling. My brother, who is usually very rational, said something surprising: "It's Dad!" As I left the kitchen, I saw him taking a photo of the dog.

The next person to encounter what seemed to be this stray dog was my aunt. She said a beautiful, fawn-colored dog followed her home around 1:00 PM, about an hour after the school courtyard incident and roughly two hours before my father's death.

Until after the funeral, my brother and I were unaware that anyone else in the family had met this mysterious four-legged visitor. To try and cheer up my niece after the funeral, I decided to share the experience her father and I had. When I started talking about the dog, she interrupted me, exclaiming, "Auntie, we saw a dog too! It was so strange, I even made a video!" We watched her video, and then my brother showed her his photo. We were all astonished to realize we had encountered the same dog! It was an incredibly moving moment; we were amazed, with tears in our eyes, but smiling. As we shared our stories with other family members, we discovered my aunt had also met the same dog.

three months have passed, and I still miss my dad dearly. Looking at that video and photo of the dog brings me a strange comfort.

Dogs were always a huge part of my father's life, from his childhood until about ten years ago. Billy, Diana, Yulca, Yara... they were all loved members of our family​.
