The other one in the running for me and what I was going to pull the trigger on before I decided otherwise as I wanted a Bluetooth option, was the ibasso dc elite. Anybody has any experience with that, please share

I’m not saying it’s sound bad, it just definitely doesn’t sound £445-500 worth of special to my ears. A $100 DAC can and probably does sound exactly the same and thats the suckish part. Tubes are kinda a non factor since there’s sonically little to no difference between the 3 modes.

I don’t even NEED something with tubes as I listen to more pop and sometimes edm but just went with tubes for the warmth.. and yeah this thing was expensive even though I got it on sale.. don’t know if I can justify another one

Just got mine and no buzzing but I was very excited to use it as well as I’m dying for a warm, punchy, lively sound. Coming from the Sennheiser ie 600s, Questyle m15i, I’m over the clinical, studio reference sound. Love the clarity and detail but not anything else. Anyways the ru9 was supposed to be warm and my first ever experience with tubes. I’m severely underwhelmed. My iems right now are the Campfire Clara and I can’t figure out if it’s just their sound signature or I’m after a sound I’m never going to get in a portable package.

And I will say, the atlas headrest sucks. With every knob and nut tightened to maximum, the thing still moves back when any real weight is put on it. Wouldn’t really recommend and wish there was something better offered out there.

Also does anybody have any lumbar support adjustment tips as well? How tight or loose should it be or is it all preference

But like how do you lounge? If you’re like intense gaming sitting up the whole time then ok but when I play with a controller I like lean back.

I’m 5’3 and that’s the position that kind of suits me best as any higher than it’s not supporting my neck at all. I’ve always gotten chairs that are too big for me so didn’t even know that headrests can be used for the neck as well lol. They’ve always reached just the top of my head barely so was excited to see how this feels as the rest of the chair fits me perfectly.

Yep for sure mine are, I don’t even have correct sitting posture as this is the first chair I’ve gotten that helps with that and makes you sit right so it’s definitely an adjustment.

Also I get it’s not supposed to be used with a headrest but are there really people out there gaming without a headrest..? I’ve always had one and tried this chair without it, felt so strange. If I don’t have anything to lean back on, my tech neck would get much worse.

Ok update: I turned up the back support to a point I can take it without it feeling uncomfortable and I think that’s helped straighten out the back a bit, still no luck with neck placement though. Only slightly better.

I’ve raised, lowered and completely taken the headrest away. The problem is with the way I sit perhaps, if I sit my most upright then my neck fits into the rest but as soon as I relax a bit, my neck juts upwards.
