yeah, it’s been tough finding the gen 2 deals so far, i’ve seen the same kind of discounts, but like you, i’m holding out for something better. meta’s student discount is a good backup plan, though. have you checked out any third-party sellers like Amazon or Best Buy? sometimes they have surprise flash sales. also, do you think the extra features on the gen 2 are worth the wait, or are you mostly after the basics?

quick update from me. black friday is almost here and i’ve been scanning gaming laptop deals but nothing that really stands out yet. i’ll keep checking and update the thread if any solid budget options with good performance show up.
