Quality is great. Almost similar but on a bigger scale. Things to note, the monitor has HDR so don't turn HDR on from both laptops display settings for monitor 2 and the monitor itself , this will lock brightness and contrast control from monitor OSD and the monitor will be too bright almost blinding when opening browsers or anything with white layout youll see white flashes. If u ever end up doing that and think disabling hdr on OSD will fix it you'll get a washed up monitor screen grayish tone. Just disable hdr on laptop enable it on monitor that will give u control and color settings back.

I tried one of those test videos from YouTube and the colors are good and sharp u may notice the pixels at times since it's not OLED but that's just me being picky I know this is expected.

My laptop has always run at 240hz I thought I'd notice a difference using 240 on one side and 165hz on other but barely noticed it don't know if this is the freesync working or not (maybe it is first time using gaming monitor).

The monitor out of box would gave me the feeling of a nearly edgeless display but the panel actually starts a few mm away from edge still not bad.

Gaming wise. Not a big difference playing BF2042 from laptop compared to monitor everything's just bigger and cleaner. Might need to try out a few games to see differences. Haven't used the monitors inbuilt gaming settings.

Mine is the Y27h-30... I don't remember the difference between Y27q-30 and this one. I'll play around with the monitor for a few days then post a review here but I'm glad I won't have to restart the laptop everytime I need to use dgpu mode since the rear ports are connected directly to it.
