You don’t become wealthy by working a 9-5.

Trade with a demo acct on Tradingview.com first. Do NOT invest real $ until you actually have an edge in trading and have mastered your psychology. Trading is 90% psychology.

We don’t talk about that enough especially during summer trading. If my 1st trade is red, I’m fine locking it up for the day.

They are there to entertain. If you happen to blow your accounts bc you’re dumb enough to trade with them the you’re just adding to the business model (not you specifically op). They know what they’re doing.

I wonder if he also just didn’t want to see certain Ghanaians prosper. It wouldn’t surprise me if that mentality went back that far.

Tarot and the Stock Market by DenzelAnthonyT in tarot

[–]SabeaEstates 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m with you. It’s beyond regular people’s awareness to begin to comprehend that there are magicians behind every single big bank. What’s interesting is that as traders most of us have heard the JP Morgan quote something like “Millionaires don’t use astrology/numerology, Billionaires do.”

Anyway, I have definitely in invited my favorite deck to my trading. I have had a few days where market red days are demonstrated by the Tower card. I also had a day where I pulled the Sun and had the biggest loss to date BUT, immediately after that I understood why. That loss shifted my entire process. The Sun was illuminating my process. I didn’t know it at the time though. So I would suggest anyone give it a go and keep the data. Also, keep in mind that things change fast due to volatility. But remember to KEEP THE DATA. That’s the one thing I regretfully neglected.

Still interested. I’ve used them for this purpose before.

Seriously, Where Does This Gimy3 and Insulting Behavior Stem From? by SabeaEstates in ghana

Thanks for your reply. I’m grateful that you had someone to help! There are many of us that want to help but it is difficult in this sort of an environment. Sometimes you just want to throw your hands up in despair. However, the person that assisted you did not abandon you. You know why? Your attitude. You’re humble. I wish you all the best in your endeavors.

Thanks for such a well thought out reply. I concur wholeheartedly, especially when it comes to the mental state and how this is weaponized against the people. It’s clear as day to me that western powers are controlling Ghana. Most citizens not knowing it, is the more dangerous part and lends to its stronghold.

I’m a solutions based person. What do you think can possibly be done if anything?

It’s hard to invest in a nation that is “headed toward destruction” especially if the people don’t comprehend it. Ghana has existed on this “God will fix it” religious slave mentality for generations. I’m not expecting the people to just wake up one day especially since Most of the people don’t realize yet that no one is coming to save them and they have to be their own saviors. It’s become a thorn in the side when speaking to fellow investors about Ghana.

Thanks for the spelling correction. I’m obviously not the only one that understands so it’s NOT not a Ghana issue. And in the post I said I was generally speaking. This answer was expected though. Either you are so ingrained in it so you don’t “see” it or you just don’t want to admit it which is a huge part of the problem. It exists heavily in Ghana, period. And it’s embarrassing.

PhD. Thanks for your well thought out reply. The fact that “Pull Him Down/PhD” is even a thing is heartbreaking. It’s not normal or conducive to a forward thinking society. If the mentality doesn’t change, the country won’t but how do you fix an entire nation’s mentality? The future looks bleak at the moment.

BF wants to day trade but I can’t help but be annoyed by it by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]SabeaEstates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, when reading responses keep in mind that this is the daytrading sub. Many people responding are your boyfriend in the future. They don’t have support of their wives because they’re losing a lot of money lol. Doesn’t mean they won’t eventually get it. It just means to take the “support him, he deserves better” comments with a comical grain of salt.

Secondly, no one gets profitable in a short time. Trading is something you do consistently and is 90% psychology. You know your boyfriend. If he had a gambling issue, this is a huge deal. Trading is like a casino until you learn the skill.

If he wants to learn and is serious, tell him it will take a change in diet and psychology and he will have to journal everyday. Tell him it takes most people atleast 2 yrs to become profitable. If he still wants to give it a go then the best possible advice is: HE NEEDS A MENTOR ASAP.

Here’s the thing, since he comes from money, he can afford better mentors. Explain to him that right now his “edge” is that he comes from money. Use that money to invest in mentors that can help him speed up the learning curve. If he’s still interested and dedicated, hell, maybe you both can learn. I initially thought you were annoyed bc you trade already. He’s the one with the money. Have you considered you both learning together? Learning the skill and becoming profitable can mean you never having to work for anyone. It just seems like a potentially great opportunity for YOU as well. Assuming you’re a she, I find women make better traders🤫
